- Harkeen Kohli in conversation with Jayashree Raina
Jayashree Raina has had a very, I would say a very valuable journey full of wonderful experiences. She travelled to U K at a nubile age of 22, worked with the Department of Education, with Local Authorities as well as voluntary organisations as a community worker. She worked with immigrants from Asia ... an action packed experience.
after which she worked with several schools in India ... the most notable being the noted Sardar Patel Vidyalaya.
Jayashree has had her stint in theatre with children and even clowning.
She has written, edited and worked as a consultant for Dorling Kindersley a British publishing house and the National Book Trust.
And she teaches students who want to be admitted in schools like The Doon School, Dehradun, Pillani and others. Her one on one sessions for proficiency in English language, creative writing and communication for children of all ages as well as children with special needs, are much sought after.
