It’s definitely not done like this anymore. If you’ve been eating Dunks for years…you’ll know what I mean when I say that at some point in time in the last 10 years…the freshness/cake like texture of their donuts changed. The toppings feel the same, but the donuts never quite feel as ‘fresh’ as they use to. It’s because they’re essentially frozen pucks. The only thing that is fresh about them, is their toppings. And that’s only for Dunks big enough to do it. I remember when various bigger Dunks would make their own donuts and smaller stores donuts every day. They were always fresh. But now…nowadays most employees can’t get a basic order correct, yet alone this stuff. So I’m not surprised it’s been yeeted from existence.
Donuts, coffee, and candy make me want to invent sweets/concoctions. Basically because of the fact that they can both look appetizing and taste yummy at the same time!
Ms Sagittarius I quit two weeks ago after poor management and also different shifts NEVER cleaned up after themselves even BEFORE leaving at the end of the shift!!! But at the location I worked at we had a shipment every day at around 1 am!! They were never shipped frozen!! They were already baked and ready for the days customers
I remember when they weren’t baked in a factory...please don’t buy these what-ever u want to call them bc they are not the doughnuts of yesteryear...I remember going in to a Dunkin and there would be a baker making the doughnuts 🍩...it was amazing to watch his skill and then another baker came along and placed the fresh dough into the fryer...and when u ordered ur doughnut u could be assured it was fresh and delicious. My favorite was the vanilla creamed filled and glazed...and man they injected a lot of cream in them! Yum, it squirted out on your chin...so do me Favor, go to a local small bakery or just don’t go to these factories ...they are not doughnuts...they are just mass produced confections that resemble a doughnut. Yech! Shame on u DUNKIN1
In Walpole Massachusetts here is a small donut shop called Country Kitchen Donuts which has really good Donuts made fresh in house. Right next to a Dunkin Donuts.

That’s how I started. fresh mufffins and donuts everyday made in store fresh.
Dunkin are horrible now. Should have never stopped making fresh in each store.
