Björn writes most of the lyrics and Benny most of the music , but the girls contribute in the studio with ideas about songparts and arrangements. Björn is oldest born 1945 and Frida later same year. Benny was born 1946 and in my age. Agneta was born 1950. Björn was born in Gothenburg but grew up in Västervik. Frida was born in northern Norway but grew up in Sweden. Benny was born in Stockholm. Agnetha was born in Jönköping. As I'm Swedish born and raised I've seen and listened to these guys since the 1960-ies. Björn was then in The Hootenanny Singers and Benny in The Hep Stars. Frida started as a 14-year old girl singing in a band mostly jazz in the beginning. Agnetha was in a danceband before her solo productions in which she wrote both music and lyrics. As Björn told when they produced this latest album 'VOYAGE' it was like they just had left the studio in 1982. The girls had it and sounded as before. Their eyes met in the studio and they felt that it was as 40 years ago. Fantastic!!

When ABBA officially announced on 2nd September 2021 that they are back again with a new album called Voyage, they released the first 2 singles, I Still Have Faith in You and Don't Shut Me Down. Then in October 2021, they released their 3rd singles, Just A Notion. Come November 2021, ABBA released the whole Voyage album, consisting 10 new songs including the first 3 singles already released.
