      Direction depends on space diagram mass angle will be the direction

    sir for couple polygon
    if a is negative then u take it in left direction but c is positive then for c also u went left
    didnt get that one.
    same in force polygon
    for mq u went up and for md u went down since both are positive
    why so?

    Ty sir.bt in book & i saw the last year pune university paper the did not mention how to solve numrical by graphically or Anylatical so how we'll know in exam ?

      Yes it can be solved by analytical method as well as graphical method. But we suggest you to use graphical method only bcz graphical method is short and comparatively easy. It will save time and reduced calculation errors.
      So if nothing is mentioned in question, then go for graphical method.

    Distance from reference p and q is 0.475m and you have taken same midway of A and B so not 175 it would be 150

      Yes you can.
      But in some cases if the polygon become very small, then you should take larger scale, so that the polygon will be bigger and more accurate.

    Jaise aapka OD 91 mm aaya hai or mere 89 aaya tha
    And angle me vary kitana allowed hota hai

      Start from the force polygon instead if you have all values in the column of force polygon....and then go for couple polygon.

      See the diagram of position of planes. In that you will find mass P is between A & B.
      But ye Linear distance hai.
      And angular distance 105° hai so it will be between B & C in space diagram

      Take larger scale to draw the couple polygon.
      Take scales like 0.09 kgm²= 5cm (means 1cm =0.09/5=0.018 kgm²) i.e 1cm = 0.018 kgm².
      So you will get accurate diagram...

    You drew oa towards left because it was negative what about others..?

      If the value of force or couple is +ve then You have to draw the vector IN THE SAME DIRECTION of masses drawn in space diagram. For eg mass mb has +ve couple, so you have to draw vector in same direction of mass mb (watch at 16:40)
      and if the value of force or couple is -ve then You have to draw the vector IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION of masses drawn in space diagram. For eg mass ma has -ve couple, so you have to draw vector in opposite direction of mass ma (watch at 15:55)

      U will get the same value from couple polygon as well as from space diagram...u just have to draw perfectly. If u will draw perfectly then u will get the accurate value👍

      We have to draw forces and couples according to the position of masses in space diagram.
      Here first couple is -ve, so we have drawn in the opposite direction of the rotating mass. But for other +ve couples, we have drawn in the direction of rotating masses.
      Your query: Yaha par b and c ko uss direction me draw karna Hain jis direction me mass b and mass c Hain.
