Anybody with the slightest artistic ability and money could do this, but this guy deserves to get paid for what I could have done in the 1st grade, congrats bro, you'd making a living doing less then what a child could do, I really hope you feel accomplished with this sad exuse for a genuine painting, your not an artist your a designer and this isn't art
@@piercelynn4424 Design is technically an form of art though. Abstract art, in my eyes, is more of a therapeutic exercise. It's not complicated (literally just dumbing lots of paint and using as many techniques as possible) and it depends on the "eye of the beholder" so therefore it can be anything anyone wants it to be. If you're into that more spiritual way of thinking, then abstract art is for you. However, I think many of us are a lot more impressed with realism art, or even cartooning then abstract because there is so little skill involved.
You're telling me that there's a selection of thousands upon thousands of expensive brushes to use... --AND THIS MAN USES A PAPER TOWEL TO PAINT?!

Sometimes he uses what appeared to be a discharged plastic bread bag. Honestly the effects of various textures really can be of great use. Balloons.. paper towel... Tin foil.. just search your kitchen lol

One of my favorite pieces of yours! All of them look great but this one stands out because one canvas has a different idea than the others, really brings out the brightness of the colors where in the other the colors are contained towards the center. I like how it is not as symmetrical as your other pieces because although they look great, they are not quite as abstract. Great job, I love watching your videos!

1:07. Anyone else amazed how the brown gets so dark after it's dried?
I know, when he brought out the dried product, I thought he switched over to a black canvas.
Yes I was a bit puzzled over this as well; I wondered if he changes his mind and used a different color of brown, and/or went a Lot thicker.
Micah Davis some brands of acrylic paint dry quite a lot darker than they are when wet. I guess as an artist he know what colours to expect when dry.
Typical acrylic paint dries about 30-40% darker in hue on average. (Unless you’re using a very high quality & very expensive brand) ..... I struggled with this in the beginning when i started painting. But like anything it gets easier with practice.

I just want to say I love your videos and I love your paintings.. I always buy a canvas and then don't use it cause I'm so scared I'll fuck up but after watching your videos I went for abstract painting I had just some cheap small acrylics in weird colours so I mixed them up with white wall paint and created some great shades and did some nice effects using tape and I'm so excited about the result. Thanks to u I really enjoyed painting without the stress of failing

What do you do to the edges of the canvases ,i noticed the paint gets squeezed down between them ,,,is it not rough when it dries?
