Multi-instrumentalist Xenia Sandstrom-McGuire joins Mikkel at the 331 for the first time!!
For this concert, Xenia will bring along her long-scale Cittern (made in 2023 by Twin Cities based master luthier Tim Reede, 100 year old Waldzither ('Forest Cittern') and of course, the electric bass!
Xenia and Mikkel share history rooted in the Driftless, mystic ice cave regions of Northeastern Iowa, and Xenia has long made the White Cliffs of Imnizi Ska (St. Paul) her home.
They perform together as a duo for the first time as part of Mikkel's Queen Mab music series.
They closed out the show with Pinball Wizard by The Who and I Saw Her Standing There by The Beatles
