The re had set it's charm , it's like any regular bike... Soft, smooth and specially no thump...... Their ads are great though , the only place , you can hear the sound of thump....

I thought it came with FI.

Royal Enfield should build a motorcycle designed for sidecars. The Bullet's used are a compromise like all motorcycles not originally made for use with sidecars. The forks are wrong as well as the gearing. Also the frame of the motorcycle should have mounting points set and not use clamps that can loosen. Also all three wheels need to be the same so a complete spare can be mounted on the sidecar rear. I know India banned sidecar motorcycles but sidecars are still manufactured for export so Royal Enfield could build special motorcycles only for use with a sidecar.
Mounting a sidecar on a RE Himalayan is more difficult than the Bullet. There are no lower frame tubes to clamp the lower sidecar mounts on. A special frame must be made that is attached to the motorcycle and then the sidecar lower mounts attached to it.

It's easier to ride on snow / ice. You can transport more with them. It is a utility vehicle which in Mongolia, you totally need.
