Hey, cool to see a couple do these! 1. I dont think webflow should be used to share mockups - designing in webflow will stop you from experimenting - will make you build in a more 'adapted to website' way summary: wont have the best design outcome and lose more time 2. Try looking at each other via the camera, it's more natural for us to look at. you 2 seem realy sweet for eachother and respectfull checking constantly what the other is thinking, but it takes away from the video. Let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the feedback! Regarding the first point, it was more of an experiment, to see what it would be like to design in Webflow. We've used Webflow for years and although slower than illustrator, it doesn't take that much longer to experiment. I also think that for some of the freedom that you lose, you actually also gain the ability to think about the website in it's true state. When using illustrator or even Xd, you are using a flat lifeless document to represent a website and you don't have the same animation tools, and other things like hover interactions are much harder to preview. I think that the future of web design will probably be done entirely in tools like Webflow, where there isn't a two stage process. We still do sketches and lay out initial ideas on paper or in another app though. On the second point, yes it's really hard to not acknowledge each other in person when we're sitting right next to each other but we're working on it! Thanks again!
So stoked I found you guys as I'm considering switching from Elementor to Webflow. I see that that you guys are relatively new to YT but I have to say that you're putting out some great, fresh and current content! Would love to see a video covering the how you go about planning and producing your vids. For example would really love to know the screenrecording software and hardware you're using...
Thanks for the awesome feedback M Cardenas! We really appreciate it ☺ And thank you for the content idea, I've added it to our list and will post up the vid soon!
lovely stuff! useful insight. interesting that you are moving to doing the design in WF for certain projects, whilst most designers are doing this in XD or Figma first before the development , as its considered to be faster but sounds like it really helps with the client feedback and not much of a difference timewise. Would be interesting to see you applying this approach!
Yeah it will be really interesting to see how the process compares. A lot of tools now (like Xd and Figma) give you some code you can use, so doing the design in webflow really just feels like taking that one step further.

Move away from elementor now, you will never regret it

LOL @ disease :) Thanks for this guys.
Haha, the not-naming-layers-disease! Thanks Tony, hope it helped :)
