When I saw these figures for the first time I remembered a lot of the ruthless jakks, now although the pieces are similar I still wonder why not use deluxe molds?
Has there ever been wrestling figures with good articulation that also didn't end up looking goofy? The only examples I can think of were a few of the Toybiz TNA figures like Elix Skipper and Jay Lethal.
Some of the AWA Remco's looked pretty good, and they were poseable at the head, shoulders, waist, and legs.. Also, depending on the Hasbro Figure's gimmick action, those figures looked good and were mostly poseable. I didn't open a lot of the Jakks figures, but the few that I did both looked good and had good poseability.

I just bought aj styles, the other reviews I watched showed poor quality figures, almost bootleg like. The Aj I got had no problems and has sold me on this line. One thing I noticed was that the reviews of the Aj had him come with a towel, water bottle and a baracade. My figure did not have that extra stuff and the package was sealed so do you know if they reissued that assortment and fixed quality control issues or did I just get lucky?
Are you guys kidding me? these are absolutely trash. I was all hyped about these figures and when I saw they were like JAKKS I was disgusted. JAKKS figures looked like horrible kids toys. Mattel figures are way more realistic.
The good thing for people who aren't a fan of these figures is that this is FTC's initial offering, and there is every chance that they are going to get better. You might hate them now, but keep an eye on the line in future releases. They might end up impressing you.
JAKKS figures look ridiculous. As a customized you have to do a lot to make them look descent. They are too muscular and reuse the same parts way too much.
Maybe Mattel are better quality figures, but I refuse to buy and collect figures from a garbage company like WWE are. I stopped getting action figures because it was only WWE. Thank god we have ROH, Rising Stars Of The Future, NJPW and AEW figures to get. Nice to have a variety than just one company based products.

You need tweezers to put the belts on to the figures, since you often to handle the belts by the edges.

Decent figures but poor likenesses IMO and very overpriced

Agreed. I remember ECW had some very average figures, but they were priced as such and found in Dollar General. They were fine for what they were.
