Buses at Telford & Wellington | Summer 2022

A visit to Telford in Summer 2022 with most scenes filmed in and around the bus station, where Arriva dominates the proceedings. The new livery has taken hold, though some Versa's drafted in from Shrewsbury to replace VDL Centro's retain the former livery. There are a couple of scenes taken in both Madeley and the refurbished Wellington bus station also.

Thanks for revisiting my home town once more 👍 Kinda knew it was coming after the Shrewsbury vid. That 4A was a good catch, only runs on college days in the morning before college and the afternoon when college finishes. Most passengers on the bus are traveling to/from Telford College, which I go to myself, however I don't get the 4A bus as it doesn't pass where I live.

Also very nice to see the 5A Stafford bus as that passes where I live. Theres been a few other changes, 5 now skips Muxton, the X5 now goes through Lawley, and if you'd stayed in Wellington longer you could of caught a new route 17 which runs from Shrewsbury to the PRH or maybe even the once daily 17A that goes up to Newport via PRH. And there's another new route which also passes my house, the X7 which also runs from Newport to Shrewsbury via Donnington and Wellington

Winter arrives and pensioners and parents with pushchairs and disabled persons in wheelchairs etc are left stranded in freezing cold temperatures waiting for a bus and not one turns up for over an hour if your lucky. What a disgraceful service that's supposed to have been improved from January 3rd 2023 after months of chaos . No sign of any improvement ,but has gotten worse even after lucy Allen's appointment with the arriva bus manager team . No consideration and no rapid response once again in sorting out specific ongoing issues that need rectifying with immediate effects . Perhaps smaller buses to be used in which less time is consumed then as to train drivers and the larger buses then for school runs and rush hour traffic runs etc .
