I am 23 years old I live with my wife and my 2 kids and we lost half of our house from a big oak we have been living in a hotel unit we can find a new house and a new job we lost everything we owed and I hope we can win the power station my kids and wife and I would love to be the winners. I love watching you hope you have a blessed and wonderful day
Wife and I just moved to Siesta keys right in the heart of the hurricane. Currently down in Bonita springs with friends waiting to get info of what we do next. Very fortunate to get out in time. Unfortunately after Milton we have decided maybe the keys aren’t the best location to raise a family. Helen we only lost some trees but losing everything and rebuilding is getting very difficult. Might be a move further south if job permits. Love Florida and all it has to offer. Fishing is amazing and love watching the videos keep up the great work.
Great video fellas! I own multiple tanks and also live in Florida. I live in a very rural area and Helene wiped out about 30-40 big oaks on my property and took all the power lines and power poles with it. I was without power for about 12 days and managed to keep all coral and fish alive with ice and stirring the tanks and moving water around with long spoons and bubblers. A power station would alleviate a bunch of stress that’s for certain. Your videos do the same also!! Thank you for what yall do and right lines brothers!
I really enjoy your streams and truly appreciate your reviews on the Bluetti power station. Im up here on the Treasure Coast and after Milton ripping thru here Im considering all my options for the future storms yet to be coming thru here. My concern wasn't fish or food loss fortunately, but keeping my 86 year old mothers oxygen concentrator machine running during the blackout period. She has COPD and uses one constantly. I was Blessed enough to have a generator accessible to keep her going, but that takes time to set up...fuel up and run the necessary extension cords to get her oxygen going again. Something like the Bluetti Power Station could literally be a life saver and game changer in future events. So if y'all find it in your hearts and consider her situation in your recipient choice I would truly appreciate it. Either way, keep up the great streams as I find them very entertaining and informative about all the strange water creatures and their amazing habitats/hideouts in our lil corner of the world. Thanx again Fish Guys and Bluetti of course for the contest submission opportunity. God Bless Y'all Peace Out
Looks like a decorator crab. You need to add pieces of vegetation and coral to the tank so it can affix to its back shell. They place coral and vegetation on them as a form of camo to hide from predators and to sneak up on prey. I think it is safe to add to your small coral tank, but NOT to the starfish pond outside nor where your shark is. Your shark eats shellfish.
I live in tn and every tornado season we get rocked by tornadoes, not only are those good for hurricane season but also tornado season.. I love your content and I’m always getting ideas for a new tank lay out.
I was effected by hurricane milton I lost 5 clown loaches 3 cory cats a zebra pleco our power was out 9 days. Even though losing fish I had for 9 yrs I'm blessed I and my family made it threw. My brother in law had a triple bypass surgery the day before the storm hit. Love what you did with that tank Be safe
I was in Pinellas county during milton and helene, my house lost power for a week and my partners job got destroyed, we’re the most devastated about all the cherished small business on the beach that were destroyed. Luckily we were able to rent a generator, but it could’ve been much worse. It scared me and my fish a lot :( I would love a power station for the next time !!! I love yall
Hi! I would like to get the bluetti! It’s fine if I can’t. I wasn’t affected by the hurricane but, I would LOVE to give it to my dad for Christmas since we always go camping and he only has a small one from target🤣 But yeah. If you can it would be AWESOME!
I loved the creativity and humor in this video. Great job guys. That crab needs a creepy, Frankenstein or Igor type name. That skunk shrimp needs a cool Top Gun name like Maverick. Keep up the good work Fish Guys
I lost all my livestock in my 3 saltwater tanks from not having power for almost a week due to the hurricane. That thing would come in super handy since I’m now working on rebuilding my tanks.
Okay guys you know I'm a huge fan even though I break your balls about the FROG FISH lol. Just want to say the editing is getting really good! The little noises and animations bring the video quality much higher! I approve! (not that you give a shit lmao)
I wanted to hop in here to tell yall my story. I live near greenville sc. Hurricane helene knocked out power for 5 days at my house. I lost all our food. With the power being out that long we lost some of my step sons fish. Which broke his heart. (He is 7) also my step son is on a cpap machine. So the whole time he didn't have his machine to help him breath at night.
Hey fish guys, I’m unsure if you have already chosen the Bluetti generator winners. I live in St. Petersburg, FL and just recently during Hurricane Milton we lost power for over a week. Between the fallen debris everywhere, the uncomfortably hot temperatures, and lack of food and gas it was a tough time both physically and mentally. With all the struggle we faced, I know we did not face nearly as much damage as compared to others in the surrounding areas. However, during this time, sadly I lost my entire tank, including a large 9 inch blue hippo tang that I had kept for 3 years and grown from an inch big. I have just now begun starting my tank back up but obviously have concerns, especially with potentially Hurricane Sara coming our way. I’ve looked into getting an electric generator, in order to safely power my filter, but that is unfortunately not financially possible right now. I’d love to be in consideration for winning one of the Bluetti generators. P.S. Chris, I doubt you remember, but I was actually responsible for naming your old tesselata eel “Elon”! Thank you for your consideration.
Smart getting a small male clown to go with the large female. Reduces the risk of the larger attacking and killing the smaller. The large clownfish that came with the tank is without a doubt a female. Female clownfish are highly territorial, and any given clownfish colony only contains one female, the largest of the group. Should the female perish, the largest male then transitions to become a female. The smaller clownfish you got to be its companion is most likely a male, had it been a female the larger one would have attacked it. But you may want to keep an eye on the tank for a couple of days to make sure. Since it is likely a male, and the bigger one a female, do not be surprised if they eventually end up breeding. Clownfish are the species of saltwater community fish that is most likely to breed in a community tank. All the fry will be males, and the ones that survive for long enough will join the colony. Anyway, it was a great find and you made it look awesome. You could consider adding the fish and inverts to the large community tank eventually, as it is large enough to support multiple clownfish colonies, should the need arise.
So heres my story; I'm not from Florida, but I am from New York, we recently got hit with a huge storm that knocked out power for days in our area. It was a hassle to keep everything alive and the tanks healthy (we have 3) but we got it done! I unfortunately don't have a power bank or any of the sort, but we were borrowing a relatives generator to keep things going.
