Newbie alert! I am back 😆 I do not know if I saw ( understood) it correctly. Are you actually milling steel on the System 3R/Erowa bases ? I always assumed those zero point bases were not rigid enough to handle the milling forces. You are always talking about efficiency ( I love it ) so I am assuming you are "hogging" as much material as possible ( reliably, of course ). So, do you confirm those bases are actually rigid enough to handle normal milling forces? Thank you, Jorge
Are there any programs to have a wire edm (feel ) find the size of a bored hole. Like a center find program ( mine is 0145) with some type of reporting on the digital display. Im trying to get a better offset number by cutting multiple holes and bore gauging them but i think the edm itself can do better than me. I just dont know how to do it.
I don't do EDM or work in the industry, but it is fascinating to see it all. Thanks for the info!
Great video. I don’t have a EDM but this knowledge transfers to all machines.
Would love to see more wire videos. Especially fixturing parts in wire for newbies.
We are planning to do a Wire EDM Beginner episode! Let us know if there are any specifics you'd like us to cover
