      I see the toolbooth gates are open from 6am to Rifugio Auronzo. I would like to get to Cadini di Misurina even earlier than that. Do You know where would be a good spot to leave the car and take hike?

    Hey guys, just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for this video! We had the best day yesterday hiking this hike, then we followed your recommendation and did the other hike in the afternoon. It was a bit busier than in your video, but still only a handful of people! So we had the best day! Also had a look through your videos and saw you use to live in Sydney! Same here, when we're back in Aus we're planning on doing the big lap :) Anyway, thanks again and keep up the good work!!

There wasn't a sign when we were there (this might have changed) but when you're there you can see that you just need to head right instead of left where the path splits (away from the Rifugio!) It really depends, if you walk and do not stop for photographs then perhaps 45 minutes. But we spent some time taking photos etc and so took longer, it also depends on your fitness level. I would allow a few hours to be safe to get there and back and take some photos along the way :)

      Hey! Hmm hard to say, we saw families doing the Tre Cime hike with a carrier, we didn't see any on Cadini though, it's hard to say really as it depends on whether you are a confident/experienced hiker.. You could start it and then if you feel its too sketchy you could always turn back to the car park and do Tre Cime instead?

    • @TwosomeTravellers
      @TwosomeTravellers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! It starts off with no trail but also starts very wide with no steep drop offs at the beginning. I guess it’s a very subjective question as every child is so different! You can see that there are some very steep drop offs and narrow pathways in some areas, I guess it would depend on how confident/comfortable your children are with this kind of thing! We did see a family do the hike but they didn’t go all the way to the view point in that helps. Either way though have an amazing time in the dolomites, you could check out our vlog on Tre cime di Lavaredo where we saw a lot of families doing the hike, the pathway is nice and wide and well marked!

  • @m.hoffman2889
    @m.hoffman2889 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sadly the Auronzo hut is always full, so sponatously overnighting there is not possible. I did arrive at 9am and hiked first to Cadini di Misurina, then did the ascent to Monte Paterno with the amazing ww1 tunnels and then went to the Sasso di Sesto view point (this view will blow your mind). Then returned to the Auronzo hut
    Cadini a hidden gem?? you're joking, when I was there there were constantly cheesy couples hogging the places and not letting anyone up there
