How about something about attic room ceilings, where there are two sloped sides? For example, is it better to sit facing between the slopes or facing one of the slopes? Thanks.
Hi Lahattec, Sloped or angled surfaces produce reflections. You must then decide if the reflections and their directions are harmful for your chosen usage. Do the frequency and amplitude of the reflections cause distortions at the listening or monitoring positions. You have to trace the reflections and see where they are causing issues with the room usage. As a general rule, which I hate to use this term, because there is no one size fits all in acoustics, you make sure the reflections end up behind the listening position out of the direct energy sound field.
can you please teach me about metamaterial acoustic, sonic crystal maybe, and teach me bout local resonance from metamaterial because meet sound waves?
So ... a short series on how to measure this stuff, if it's something you can do on a mobile phone, would be insanely useful!!!
+PinkPonyOfPrey Good idea. I will look into this.
Yes I did enjoined! thanks.

+Mustika Cahya I am not familiar with these technologies. If you send me a link, I will look at them for you.
