I have a question. Do most women actually find men attractive and beautiful looking? I'm a man, and I have heard from many straight women who I've had the privilege to be friends with that in general they do find the female body more aesthetically pleasing to look at than the male body - especially around the aspects of the male body that they find particularly disgusting - hair all over (face, chest, back, legs), the male genitalia region in general. But while they may think that the female body is more pleasant to look at than the male body, they do not find themselves physically attracted to women and instead find themselves attracted to men. So I heard that women are usually more interested in a man's personality rather than his looks.

Signs person is attracted 1. Preening: (fixing, standing straighter playing) is subconscious 2. Pay attention to a drag or lingering touch 3. Focus on frequent, unnecessary touches 4. Look where the person orientates his body 5. Person is leaning towards you 6. Person looks at you, smiles and looks away
She turns her body in your direction, laughs and leans over towards you, grabs your arm and doesn't let go until the very last moment, constantly plays with her hair and checks you out, hugs you and won't disconnect, gives you the smiling eye dart... Is she into you?... yeah again, you really can't be too sure, it's too dark in the room so she can't really see you properly.
Take preening with a grain of salt. I've seen a lot of girls twirl their hair or touch their face out of anxiety or nervousness. But touching is an excellent sign, almost a green light.
Except when she discovers that the sincerity was a lie and you were being manipulative, then you’ll truly find out what is the most important thing to women…honesty. Good luck.

Just so you guys understand. Body language is not magic, but it is a lot like Occlumency and Legilimency from Harry Potter. If you know what the body language for flirting are, it can also be faked by someone just to pretend that they have a interest in you for whatever reason. They can also learn to be self aware of their body language and mask them before acting in a way. Salespeople, actors and politicians are generally extremely good at this and I'm quite certain they fake it while in public. It really comes down to practice and constant interaction with people, watching their cues, etc.
@@kungfuman82 There's definitely some truth, but I feel like most of the charm developed by people with anti-social disorders comes from experience or is just a result of their illness. I feel like psychopaths and sociopaths lack the feeling of anxiety so they come off as charming due to their confidence
Unfortunately, it's impossible to know whether or not someone is attracted to you. People might also feel attracted to you, but choose not to act upon it. The best thing to do is enjoy yourself and trust the right person will notice and ask you out. Flirt a little with the people you're interested in and see what happens.
Agreed. Everyone feels attraction to others even when in relationships. If thats the case, they wont normally do anything but enjoy the moment of'he's/she's cute'
Definitely agreed. I've been aware of these things for a long time (open body language, touch, eye contact, etc.) and used that knowledge to actively do the opposite to hide my attraction. They're decent indicators of someone who wants you to know they're attracted to you, but they're not tell-alls.
A really good sign that I never see talked about is when someone maintains eye contact while taking a drink, especially if they are smiling while doing it. You actually see some of this in the video. It shows they are completely engaged and don't want to allow that momentary interruption even though they are literally blocking part of their face. Another one that is blatantly obvious most people miss is when someone tries to isolate you from the group. A lot of times when we are interacting we won't notice subtle, often unintentional, manipulations to get one-on-one time with you. It could be as overt as touching someone's arm or elbow or back to move them away from others or simply leaning a certain way, etc. It is most often realized in retrospect and/or pointed out by an observer, which could be another sign because why are THEY watching you. It is all a massive convoluted dance of human interaction made all the more complicated by romantic inclinations. Unfortunately there are some people out there that will do these things just to get you to engage to make themselves feel better or look better to their friends. I saw this happen a lot working bars for several years across multiple states and yes it also happened to me. Always take these kinds of things with a grain of salt when you're dealing with people who depend on your support, like people in the service industry or salespeople or entertainers or politicians, etc. They are automatically attempting to get you to like them and engage with them for self-preservation.
One sign: she qualifies herself to you. If you tell her that you like responsible/smart/charming women, she will start finding ways to hint at it, either overtly or covertly like telling a story.
So you tell her what qualities you like, and she will attempt to manifest them to you? I've been doing it wrong all this time, trying to figure out what she wants.
I have instances where men do this too. Usually the person who is interested would ask you what qualities you are looking for.. you answer them and suddenly they are trying to "qualify" themselves to you..
If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place. -Nora Roberts

Cecily Erker definitely not his. Do you think he just controls who is attracted to him? You’re the same women who cheats on a dude and says “it’s your fault for not liking me enough”
@@epbrown01 Why bad? I mean let's be honest: if Gal was not married, she'd totally be dating Chris. If anything i kinda feel bad for her husband. He is considerably less attractive than Chris and It must have been really awkward for him to see that interview. I mean, let's be frank: no one likes to see our s.o. looking at someone else that way. And tbh, he might have a small doubt (at least i know i'd be wondering) if something might have happened behind the scenes between them.
*It's amazing how a little knowledge can empower men to approach women with more assurance. Definitely a must-watch for anyone navigating the dating scene!*
Attraction is tricky. A person could be attracted to you, but is aware of potential signs and doesn't want to show it, being self-conscious and trying to avoid the signs. Like a hug for example...intentionally pulling away quickly. I've done it.
Right, I've done it, too. In fact, shaking his hand rather than hugging him. Literally no one, as far as I could ever tell, figured out I had a crush on him, him included. To this day, only two people know, and only because I told them. Not that I never gave a single sign, but someone would have had to have ben deliberately studying me to ever catch it, and it would have still been so vague that they likely wouldn't have gotten it. But typically, if someone is hiding it that much, there's probably a good reason. In my case, it was because he already was courting someone else!
@@ShalomSimplified Correct! Appearances can be deceptive. Let yourself be genuine. Walk by faith (and love), not by sight. Also participate in creating the good that you want to come about; Don't just passively rely on giving or sending signals.
Exactly. If you're into body language like some people are then most likely they will do the opposite if they don't want their feelings to be known or if they're embarrassed or shy about it
@@MrParkerman6 Hug was a bad example. But some people are like that, or touchy by nature and yet it doesn't mean anything. It isn't always black and white.
I remember there was a time where me and my crush started being more close to each other, we would laugh, we would talk a lot, I felt great, I truly think she may have liked me on that way. But we both ruined it by not taking action, I will try to be more direct next time, and improve myself.
Today I learned that Craig Ferguson is an absolute ladies man. Real talk the man is one of the funniest talk shoe hosts ever and I dont understand why he isnt a bigger show host.
I couldn't deal with his accent. My hearing isn't the greatest and between the accent and the fact that he talks a bit fast caused to give up on the show without giving him a proper chance. Looks like I could've picked up a few pointers if I had. lol
I had this once just for them to tell me they were joking just to make me awkward, now I'm dating their ex and guess who's gonna get invited to the wedding?😈
0:45 gal gadot was so adorable right here. the stare, the smile, the lip bite, and then that typical “uh oh someone might catch me” bashful lookaway stare to the ground gaaah ❤
I think all this can happen when a person feels like they are heard and appreciated, especially women. Not necessarily romantic interest, as the disclaimer said. If you truly want to know if someone wants to be romantically involved with you, is to feel see their intent on their behavior. As someone said, you'll feel the heat if there's any as long as you keep a keen sense. If you can't, just ask.
Thank you for teaching men how to understand when girls are interested. Far too many men are absolutely clueless, and no matter how many times a girl gives them attention, they absolutely miss it entirely.
I always do lingering hug, be it love interest or a friend or even another guy - just because it's the most enjoyable type of hug to a receiver. There is no other motivation, then being the king of enjoyable hugs.
I am both a practitioner, and trainer, in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). I have also been trained in Neuro-Subliminal Communication (NSC), which, essentially, focuses on the meaning behind pre-conscious gestures, such as preening, or things like subconsciously swallowing during a negotiation. With all that said, I would like to say that this video is very accurate. The couple of things that I would add , that somewhat complicate matters, are the effect of context and inter-relational dynamics. For example, if a person is in an environment, or in the type of relationship (such as boss/subordinate, or friend/best friend's partner, dynamic), where it could viewed as highly-inappropriate to demonstrate attraction, or where impulses toward attraction need to be suppressed, then one might see a seemingly paradoxical reversal of the behaviors listed in this video. Basically, this means that, depending on the context, if someone seems to go out of their way to suppress these responses, then it might just mean they are attracted to you, but want to hide it, perhaps even from themselves. Still, pre-conscious 'leakage', such as blush responses, eye dilation, etc., are still likely to occur. One just has to employ more acuity in observation.
Counterintuitive Addition: if she (or he) challenges you. I don't mean a duel, although anything is possible, but teases and competitions are a sign of attraction too. For example, I asked a friend once if a certain girl we worked with was now single. He said "yes", then proceeded to tell her I had asked. She turned around and, in front of the whole work group, asked me why I was wondering that, a cheeky smile on her face. I turned to my traitor friend, saying "I told you to be subtle about it, moron". When I looked back at her she did Ben's appropriately named "smiling eye dart" and told me she was single. You don't see the challenge? She was testing how I would react. Another example could be a tackle competition. However, if you get that far, you don't need me telling you she likes you.
why would you ask if she is a single or not? if you are a real man then you go for her whether she is married or taken or engaged. a lion doesn't concern himself over opinion of the sheep.
I trusted u 😭, the way my friend look at me is the same way u said that she secretly loves me, so I told her how I feel about her & that I know she likes me from the way she looks at me… Now she said she doesn't wanna see me for the upcoming million years 😵
I recently started flirting with a guy who's only slightly worse at flirting than I am, but now I'm to the point where I'm convinced that there are men as well as women who only flirt to make themselves feel better and have no intention whatsoever of pursuing things further.
Those inebriated tend to do more sketchy things. I like how they make such a big deal out of women grabbing his leg, when the perv puts it out there specifically for them to do that. I mean, what do they have? Their chair, themselves, and his leg, there's not much else to do. It's so fake.
It's no secret, people like to be liked... ...having said that from personal experience I recommend if you want more people to like you (friendship or something more) just do these same things to lots of people rather than hope they do them towards you. I do all of these things constantly towards people (sometimes on purpose, other times unconsciously but catch myself in the act) and believe me it makes a big difference.
Thank you for this video, I now realized that my 5 year long crush never liked me. It was just simple eye contact. It was all in my head. Don't listen to the voice inside ur head.
Also, if they almost continuously have quick glances at you, even when you don't engage in conversations in a group meeting, then that's 100% it. However, as a guy, you almost certainly won't notice them.
It's also worth it to compare the person against themselves - everyone's amount of touching, preening, smiling etc. is individual. Some people simply might like to touch others more than average, or might be more smiley or have more eye contact. Or, some people might respond to you or others touching and smiling more readily and match you. So try to gauge how a person acts towards others around them compared to yourself, or compare how their acts evolve as your interactions continue. Also, some signs of non-attraction from some might be a sign of attraction from others. Such as, some people might be deathly afraid of making eye contact with people who they are attracted to, while others might make more contact! There's people out there who will simply not talk to you or interact with you at all when they're attracted to you. Go figure. Just, don't think everyone who's avoiding you is attracted to you or you'll end up playing the creep. With one of these people, a sign could be that they choose to be in the same place with you as often as they can, even if they might not interact with you while they're there. These people can be hard to read, and it can be something else entirely too, so take it easy. As an example, I once had a polyamorous friend literally ask me to hang out with her girlfriend saying she wanted her girlfriend to date someone like me. So we did for a short amount of time, didn't hit it off and stopped seeing each other, and ended up dating with that friend - for going on four years now. Also - you can always just do the straight up thing and ask. :)
another sign at work or school, if they regularly come by your desk to ask a question they can easily find the answer themselves. #2 - you give them little unnecessary commands and they comfortably obey.
@@RARochester Nah, I think he just gets the "Sorry, I have bf/husband." line. I know what you're saying, but what lines do they say to you that make it the clear they're down despite the bf/husband?
Love this video as with all your others! One thing I want to point out, is that for the clips with Kate Mara and Catherine at the beginning of this video, I think that there is a good chance they could have both been touching their hair out of self-consciousness/feeling a bit uncomfortable. In both cases, men were publicly making sexual hints at them, and many women actually do not like when men do this and are often horrified by it. But out of "politeness" or being in a public setting, they don't say anything and instead unconsciously express that discomfort by "preening". I often preen when i'm nervous so I think it is important to point out that preening can indicate two very different things: interest vs. discomfort. Of course, we have no idea what was actually going through either woman's minds so I could be totally wrong. Just wanted to give my perspective so people don't accidentally mistake discomfort with flirting in certain cases!
Second this. It’s like a nervous energy or irritation tick. But not a good nervous energy. Women are sharper than a lot of men think. And we’re good at smiling / looking fine to appease a man’s ego to avoid the aggression that can result when a man realises we’re not interested / we’re rejecting him. So by itself, preening is not a reassuring sign. Don’t be creepy / obnoxious / come on too strong if you don’t want her having a negative reaction inside.
Very glad you pointed that out. There have actually been cases of teenage girls in particular ending up in bed with boys they hadn't actually wanted to sleep with because they were excessively nervous and the boy took their nervous preening, lip-biting, etc. as flirting.
Lol my ex got a jealousy rage when I played with my hair after a friend of mine entered the room. 1. I rarely wear my hair down, so having it around is unusual enough for me to touch it. 2. I get anxious in larger crowds and it was a bigger meetup, 10+ people. I probably just stimmed. So while it can be a hint, it is not necessarily a telling sign. (Oh, on the other hand, a jealously rage is a relatively good sign of a toxic relationship.)
What im gathering from this video is that craig ferguson can have any woman on the planet that he wants. Also this is my first time ever hearing of him
I will say that with the hair preening, sometimes women play with their hair if they are fidgety or anxious. I am a woman and I play with my hair all of the time.
There's some good advice here, as per usual. And I like Craig Ferguson, and it's fun to watch all the flirting,,, and he is witty and all that. But make no mistake, the ladies who go on His show know exactly what they're doing there and why they're on the show. so, If you behave very much like Ferguson, in real life situations,,, Don't expect the same reactions.
I had never considered the standing straight as preening. It makes a lot of sense. Now I know why the girl I like was so standing like that when I first saw her after a long time.
As much as I would like to incorporate some of these nuances into my everyday life I don’t like the fact that all of his advice and examples come from celebrity interaction and not from everyday ordinary people. Like plain sight PDA in ordinary places we typically would interact.
Excellent point. Because this video is completely ridiculous and pointless. Another thing I hate: when billionaires give advice on wealth creation and life.
What does it mean when she hits you with the bear mace while recoiling and frantically punching numbers into her phone? I feel like things are really starting to happen 👍
I have observed that when girls are attracted to me, they tend to stick their chest out and arch their back especially when they're sitting next to me.
yeah ive noticed the way a girl faces you when they speak, the more they turn and more fully facing you they are into you, but if they talk to you side ways like they just want to run away when you are talking to them, its game over man!
It does not make sense to me at all. He seems like a weird guy to me. They are actresses coming on a show, do we know if they really 'like' him at all? It's pretty much part of the show format.

Take preening with a grain of salt. I've seen a lot of girls twirl their hair or touch their face out of anxiety or nervousness. But touching is an excellent sign, almost a green light.
The most important thing women love is sincerity. Be very sincere.
If you can fake that, you've got it made.

Oclumency? Harry Potter? MARRY ME
I have an inkling that Jesus Christ might be attracted to you.
People joke that this channel is a goldmine for sociopaths (paraphrasing, of course) and, while it is humorous, there's probably a bit of truth in it.
@@kungfuman82 There's definitely some truth, but I feel like most of the charm developed by people with anti-social disorders comes from experience or is just a result of their illness.

Unfortunately, it's impossible to know whether or not someone is attracted to you. People might also feel attracted to you, but choose not to act upon it. The best thing to do is enjoy yourself and trust the right person will notice and ask you out. Flirt a little with the people you're interested in and see what happens.
Yep!
Feels like this ought to be common knowledge, but it's a nugget of wisdom all the same.
A man of wisdom
That's brilliant. Gonna try this
Sherloid Bai hello from the dark side
Men do this too!

I think all this can happen when a person feels like they are heard and appreciated, especially women. Not necessarily romantic interest, as the disclaimer said.
Confidence and Alpha body language >> being a nerd with alot of written knowledge
What happens at work ends up on reddit. Seriously though, all great points.
"alpha body language" lmao
Now I realize why every girl I have ever talked to, stood like a drill instructor not looking at me in my general direction.
However, if you get that far, you don't need me telling you she likes you.
why would you ask if she is a single or not? if you are a real man then you go for her whether she is married or taken or engaged.

...having said that from personal experience I recommend if you want more people to like you (friendship or something more) just do these same things to lots of people rather than hope they do them towards you. I do all of these things constantly towards people (sometimes on purpose, other times unconsciously but catch myself in the act) and believe me it makes a big difference.

@j l ...and how many restraining orders do you have against you?

@Covid 1984 IF I end up marrying, I'm in it till one of us croaks
This is so true. I constantly avoid eye contact and being close to someone I have a crush on .
I got one thing out of this: no one has ever been attracted to me
this video just tells me i'm forever alone😔
another sign at work or school, if they regularly come by your desk to ask a question they can easily find the answer themselves. #2 - you give them little unnecessary commands and they comfortably obey.

It's been years since I last upgraded my personality. This channel is really adding some DLC to my brain.
👋Hi, my dream is to have 350 subs😃....
THANK YOU
@@AJ-tx3qm so is Craig all that ? Let's get a woman's perspective....

@@TheUltimateFridge sorry, was really just curious.
"We've all been there"
*Looks in the mirror*
Welp, nope 🥺
It's not too late to change that. Make a list of things you could do better, focus on one at a time and be patient. It'll pay off eventually.

"But something like is normal".
"Yeah it may be considered that way, but I'm still proud of you for it".

I always feel like I'm the only girl here just looking to improve my social skills

What does it mean when she hits you with the bear mace while recoiling and frantically punching numbers into her phone? I feel like things are really starting to happen 👍
Something's happening alright
It's been 4 months
How are you XD
She's just playing hard to get, it means she wants you to turn up the flirting even more.

Good call…I’ll keep you updated 🤙
She's just trying to tell others about your masterful techniques! If you can handle the bear mace, you can handle her at her worst!😂
Hahaha sense of humour is great
How great it is to not only hear but also to see what you're telling us
Great examples, thank u!
I just love how Craig Ferguson is always the main example used in Attraction videos.
It makes sense.
I came here to say that as well!
It does not make sense to me at all. He seems like a weird guy to me. They are actresses coming on a show, do we know if they really 'like' him at all? It's pretty much part of the show format.
@@timm8998 they seem to enjoy his company tho ..alot were bery touchy too
5:13 To be fair. This could also be her trying to put as much distance as possible between her and James Cordon.
