Thank you ! Am I correct that you leave it 20min in the bath in fisrt method and only quick dip for second method ? Thank you

The paper soak time is dependent on how much sizing the paper has. Unsized paper, for instance, is sometimes sprayed rather than soaked, and heavily sized paper, such as Rives BFK, can sometimes need a couple hours. Local humidity also impacts needed soak time, longer in dry environments and shorter in humid. Damp packs take the guess work out as all papers are briefly dipped in a water bath and then left to equalize overnight.

Thank you for sharing your methods on soaking paper. How long would you say can I wait before using the paper in the damp pack? Does it need to be used the next day or can I wait a couple of days?

It is best to use the paper within 24 hours. Paper can usually be left for up to 48 hours, however you will want to watch closely for signs of mold.

@@michellerozic5828 How does this work when doing multiple layers of color? If the paper is moistened, will the ink dry in time for the paper to receive another layer of ink over top of the first, while still being moist?
