Ingenious Mastery is absolutely going in my River Song deck. There's so few options for forcing the interactions that trigger her damage, and that's a good one that I hadn't seen before.
It is not often that I am shown a card and think “Hey, thank works really well with Reveka, Wizard Savant!” Reveka is a 2UU Dwarf Wizard that is a 0/1 from Homelands that has the ability “T:Deal 2 damage to any target. Does not untap during your next untap step” Mercurial Transformation as noncreature removal seems beautiful in that deck.
I love these series because it helps me find cards for my Temur chaos deck with Pako and Haldan. I want as many obscure and “wtf is that card” in the deck as possible. If I can play a card that my opponent has to reread because of shock and wild impression, then I’ve won.
Fervent mastery is almost a win con in my osgir the reconstructor deck wich focus on big artifact creatures If i discard them its just even better no downside!
Here's an angle I've been looking into recently; Krothuss of the Deep and cards like Serpentine Ambush and, as mentioned here, Mercurial Transformation. Throw in an Archaeomancer / similar, and you have a repeatable effect that you can use to squeeze extra value from Krothuss. Probably a few too many hoops to jump through, but a fun concept!
I actually run my selfless glyphweaver in my dnd 5 color party deck. It's a cleric when I need with needed board protection and a wipe with a save when I need it. Anytime I get a modal spell whether mdfc or just modal on abilities I'm generally running it in whatever deck I can lol.
Was just looking for cards to upgrade my Nevinyrral deck the other day and came across Bane, Lord of Darkness from Battle for Baldur's Gate. Forgot that set came out and was pleasantly surprised. Needless to say I've switched commanders and at .50 cents and 2,000 decks I'd say Bane is looking like a really fun build!
I ran Daemogoth Titan (and Daemogoth Woe-Eater from the same set) in my Mimeoplasm deck. I've since taken it apart and trying to find a new home for this guy. Thinking maybe Coram
Strixhaven had a lot of bling (as in foil), but the cards tended to be niche and overcosted. While these are some of the more flexible exceptions, most were more suitable for 40-card drafting, particularly among college students.
Harness Infinity sounds great in my Nemata deck.. I'm already using Holistic Wisdom to buyback a bunch of cards and I'd love to refill my hand with sac effects and draws late game!
Does Ingenious Mastery work with Lucea Kane the way I think it does? You replace the payment of the cost, but not the cost itself. One blue, tap Lucea, draw six and give a couple of treasures to two different opponents is awesome.
I didnt play during strixhaven which sucks because I really like the spell card art in that set. Ive even opened a box of i think Korean strix. Lgs has foreign boxes from time to time

I use Harness to Infinity for my Mycrotyrant deck!
I really like how you open my eyes with new ideas of how to play some cards. Thank you very much for your videos!

I'm glad to see ingenious mastery get some love! I run it in a lot of my blue decks as a reliable early to mid game burst of cards

Harness Infinity is all I neded agains my pod obsessed by discard and mill in all their decks. THANK U
I use glyphweaver in my Ravos & Tymna cleric tribal deck as a back up board wipe.
Daemogoth is in my yargle and multani deck as another high power option
I run both in Mimeoplasm, absolute houses
Mercurial Transformation has been amazing in my Rhona, Pestilence deck. Transform any nonland permanent into a 1/1 and ping it away.

Amazing picks - mercurial transformation is really good. I forgot about it.
Please do more
I shoved Sparring Regimen into my Kelsien deck the second I got my hands on one.

I absolutely love Strixhaven and completely missed Ingenious Mastery. Seems really good!

I wish Mercurial Transformation hit lands but honestly it's fine, especially when paired with a board wipe

I didn't know about Fuming Effigy and now I wanna combo it with Scavenger Grounds and kill the table.
Unfortunately it's one or more, so Scavenger Grounds only causes one trigger.

Oh yeah, dang what a shame
Those are good picks, but I'd rather forget Strixhaven ever happened 😅
Interesting, why?
Why? Strixhaven is one of my favorite sets
? Why? Please explain...
Great topic and video
Should I be playing creatures in commander ?😂
wdym forgotten. The set just came out... right?
technically yes. but there's been 8,910,786 sets since then.
