What happened was: Wooshin shot a short video with Somi on the December 24th 2016. From the video it looked like he brushed his hands twice on Somi's chest. TM stated that it was simply an unfortunate camera angle and had a laboratory proof that there was no physical contact. Even Somi stated that they didn't touch. But K-Netizens flocked to Up10tion's V-live broadcast regardless and left all kinds of horrible comments, saying he was a child molester etc. Wooshin saw all of the comments and was clearly destroyed by it. Antis continued to post malicious comments on Naver and such. So Wooshin went on hiatus to get treatment for mental tress and depression. In this video Wooshin said that he received letters from fans and the members also contacted him. This lead to his coming back to the group. He also went on trips with his best friend to relieve stress during the hiatus and pictures from his Busan trip were posted on Insta.
This all started over nothing honestly, I’m disgusted at some people who want to make news out of literally anything, but they don’t even consider that their actions will cause damage to another person’s life. Legit the incident with somi and Wooshin was all a misunderstanding, people just go over the top with this kinda stuff like it’s literally nothing, I repeat NOTHING to make news out off wtf. Poor boi didn’t deserve all the hate he got and he probably still gets hate, I couldn’t even imagine how hard it must’ve been on him. My heart honestly goes out to wooshin, and I’m glad he has caring members who love and support him.

He then became mentally instable because of the constant hate so he took a hiatus and now came back after almost a year but on naver there are still people hating on him... The second most emoticon is almost every time the angry one.... International people doesn't even understand all that fuss... Poor Wooshin! I’m annoyed at the fact that the camera people wanted to capture everything as soon and Wooshin started to break down.
