I do one burnout in my town and 6 people are on the phone with the fuzz. Anyway Stuntman took this thing to the brink, holy hell! It just keeps going and going and going and going and going and....
Daaaaaaaang those OLDER Pathfinders were made pretty well though. Idk how that transmission took that kind of abuse the man that built it or had rebuilt it did a hell of a job.....
Just make sure it's that generation. I wouldn't be recommending a Nissan anything to anybody from nowadays. Maybe a frontier but that's because they're still based on an old model.

WOW... That reminds me of a car my mom had years ago. Early 80s Plymouth Toreezmo.... After replacing the water pump one winter night.... Something went wrong... Next morning I tried to drive it to work... But there was a wireing PROBLEM. Would not run correctly with lights on. So I turned it off. Car started diesling... I went into the house to call work and say I wont make it in. Took me like 30 minutes. When I came back out... It was STILL DIESELING!!!!! Catalytic converter was cherry hot... Just like THAT. Couldn't get engine to stop !!! I ended up dumping entire pot of coffee on the converter to douse it... That stopped motor from DIESELING !!!!
jesus i used to have a 2002 infiniti qx4 with 290k miles and it was in almost perfect condition till this last winter i spun out on the freeway and wrecked it! these and the pathfinders have the 350z engine and they rip even being under tuned they are super reliable!

I got a 96 and it's been a daily for 2 years now strong
I've taken my 2002 from 87k to 145k so far. No major problems, just had to replace the alternator and front U-joint
