Only thing to mention is if you are using Iphone or Ipad with a Garmin you get free E6 courses. Not owning a gaming computer I have Awesome Golf and the 5 free E6 courses that come with the Garmin device. And Awesome Golf says they are going to add more courses but admit they are not trying to be GSPRO or E6. We will see when or if they come out.
Lifetime GSPro means you don't have to pay the annual sub and you own the software. Downside is that you don't get any software upgrades / improvements. Given the team is actively improving the software, I'm happy to subscribe for now. If there comes a time in the future where it seems like they're upgrading less frequently, I may transition to the lifetime membership. Thanks for watching!
Question, does the GSPRO software tie itself to a PC? In other words, if you get a new PC, does the software allow you to setup on the new PC without calling for a new license? Hope this makes sense.
Thanks! I just put out another video comparing my computer (old non-gaming laptop) to a gaming PC I just purchased for my sim, that one has the computer specs in it so feel free to check it out when you have a chance. Projector is a BenQ MX825STH. I have another short video going thru the cost / components of my sim setup, take a look at that too if you'd like. GSPro was dead simple, honestly. Download the software, pay for the registry key, fire it up and download some courses. It wasn't all that tough getting the R10 to talk to GSPro using the connector that you can get from the Discord, and when I've had questions the people there have been super helpful.
Im thinking of buying a gaming computer from Best Buy , that’s on sale and has the specs needed to run gSPro at 1080p. I’ll watch the video now. Just subscribed to your channel. A lot of great info. One more question, how did you get the image full screen ? Is that the project doing that ? Thanks
@@eliot1c Yeah, I had the projector installed for me by someone who knew what they were doing re: throw ratios and stuff. I think most projectors come with digital zoom / shrink / image sizing so you can adapt the image that it projects to the size of your screen.
@@ChrisEckes got my laptop and loaded Awesome golf. Is the only way to play AG with AG Assistant on my ipad? or is there a way just to use my laptop, And can i load the Garmin R10 app on my laptop? Next will be loading GSpro . Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance

I do think the free E6 courses are fine. I did get a couple weird misreads, and I think both Awesome Golf and GSPro have been great.
Great review man. Totally unbiased.
Fantastic video per usual. Thank you Chris
Appreciate the support! Glad the content is useful :)
What’s the advantage of paying the lifetime membership of Gspro, what would your choice be

Hmm that's interesting. I figured lifetime meant you get the game for lifetime. It seems kinda weird you lose out on updates
I like the video, but dislike that you are giving the win to AG, but haven't checked the GSPro sfuff.

My understanding is that you can transfer your license to a new PC or a new launch monitor platform for free just by contacting GSPRO support.
Great video. Can I ask your setup? Computer specs, projector choice ? And how hard was setting up GSpro? Thanks

@@eliot1c honestly not sure, I've only used it with an iPad.
And Awesome Golf works perfectly on Mac.
Wait, so if you break your device and have to replace it, you will have to get another lifetime membership with awesome golf
I'm unsure about that, I'm guessing that AG support would help you out here.
