There are at least two passengers being kicked off recently. The decision to kicked them off were made by the founding passengers and the company. Who are these founding passengers? What qualify them to have such major authority to vote passengers off? Are you founding passengers?Almost like survivor games!
@@dchhieng We are not founders. Founders are investors. People who bought or rented and also invested even more money. There are a lot of them and they probably are the majority. This happened a couple months ago and we don't really know the story.
Logistics: how will you get your routine pacemaker checkup if the ship happens to be cruising isolated South Sea islands or elsewhere. Also, why can’t you “say too much” about VV?
The doc told us yesterday he could go up to a year for check ups. He may fly back when we are on the west coast next year, then figure it out the year after. Time will tell.
Very hopeful that you get to cruising. Hoping you can address a controversy about a resident or two who have apparently been thrown off or banned from the cruise as punishment for speaking negatively in private about the recent. setbacks. It doesn’t feel as if you’re censoring anything of course you probably couldn’t say if you were. But since it’s out there, I’m hoping you guys will address it in a way that doesn’t put you at risk for falling out of standing.
It happened awhile back, and we don't really know the full story. I have heard that the founders had a vote, but I can't confirm that. (A founder is someone who invested into the company more than just buying or renting a cabin). I have heard it was more about the negative being "constant" as opposed to just complaining. Either way, I hope they can still fulfill their dreams on another ship.
@@floralscene he has to make the adjustment as the seatbelt sits right over his pacemaker. In our normal cars, we have a special cover for the belt, but in rentals we don't have that.
do the math, all the money the residents have paid do not cover all the Villa Vie expenses with equipment, fuel, staff etc..... so how long will it be before they declare bankruptcy. It is a bad financial model. Do the math.
We have...and the monthly fees MORE than cover it all. Not sure where you are getting your numbers. Do you know how many cabins they have reserved just for renting out like a regular cruise? Do you know all the ways they can make money on board?
I smell a troll. I’m happy sea trials appear to have gone well. Another channel said there was a party last night for the crew onboard. Did you guys hear anything about that?
Thanks so much for sharing would love to visit there some day, your right lots of bikes! 😂 I love coffee! ☕️ Can't wait untill you start sharing your adventures on board Villa Vie Odyssey! ❤❤❤
@KS-kr4ok you got me curious so I had to do the math 🤦♀️ The only math I can do is on the monthly payments per cabin. We don’t have access to the amounts paid to date for each reserved cabins. Based on only the reserved cabins as of 9/21 at the solo rate per cabin, since I have no idea how many are double occupancy, it comes to $1,545,143 per month from monthly fees. I have no idea how much it takes to run a ship per month but when you multiple by 12 for the yearly amount it comes to $18,541,716. Considering this is a conservative figure you’d think they could more than run the ship for this amount.
Ok guys so time to be authentic. After watching the video about the 16 things Jenny Phenix raised as issues, you don't mention any of them. Regardless of whether you know her or not, why haven't you updated everyone on things like virtual windows being withdrawn, kitchen facilities being withdrawn, interior room sizes being 130sf not 160 sf, only one restaurant being available for a period of times after you sail, food outside of the three main meals costing you extra etc etc. you say you aren't beholden to the owners, yet don't mention these things which you must know about, and surely aren't happy about. Why is that? It is hard to take you seriously, and no one addresses these issues authentically. The only logical conclusion is that you aren't allowed to. Yes I know , you like to be positive, but telling the truth isn't being negative, it is the truth!
Wow! Let's break it down. First off, I have not watched ANY videos on VV outside of OURS and VV themselves. (I don't like messing with my creative brain) Anyway, I don't care a flying flip what the owners think, so let's do this. The virtual window was the only thing listed that was actually taken away. They realized once they went to look into it, the magnetic walls made it completely impossible without spending HUGE money. It would be simple for a new build, but they decided it just wasn't cost effective. We bought a 130 sq ft room like the website stated, and got moved to 140sq ft room while renovations take places on a lower deck. As did EVERY single person on deck 2 and 3. Kitchen facilities were turned down due to code, so VV announced they will have to come up with an alternate way in the future. ALL restaurants WILL be open once we set sail. From the very first day WE bought, we were told there would be 3 restaurants, 2 included and 1 paid. Please tell me the rest of your list so I can confirm their validity. I think it sucks anyone got voted out, but we were not part of it. Like I always say, I will sleep in a tent to be able to sail the world. Remember we live in Nicaragua, a developing country. We are super laid back and things roll off our backs pretty easily. I get some people want way more out of this lifestyle, but we are content to even be able to have a room down in the dungeon.
They are not pursuing the US certs until later. They are much more strict and expensive. People will board in the Bahamas now. The huge complaint was, 'but my stuff is in Miami.' VV offered to ship it to the Bahamas for free to anyone who planned on boarding in Miami. Bottom line is this company ran into problems that cost millions to fix, ie the rudder stocks. They are doing their best to get the ship running. I can only assume this was a valuable lesson and they learned from their mistakes. Several people have chosen to walk away, and that is their right. We choose to ride it out and see where this venture takes us. We did not invest, so we are not founders, and we purchased one of the least expensive rooms. We choose to hang on and deal with whatever comes our way the best we can.
Oh, stop it. If it was a scam, I don’t think Villa Vie would be spending all this time and money fixing up the ship and going through everything to get certifications.
The only sus thing vv has done is stringing along passengers and withholding information… they literally had a list of dozens of major things that had to be done on day one (original departure date) that would absolutely take months no matter what yet were like ‘next week we sail, next week, no next week’ from the day everybody arrived. Wonder why they didn’t tell everyone IMMEDIATELY that it would be months? Am I missing something?

@@floralscene he has to make the adjustment as the seatbelt sits right over his pacemaker. In our normal cars, we have a special cover for the belt, but in rentals we don't have that.
@@MidLifeCruising95 Maybe you should drive so he can put it on the other side where it won't hit the pacemaker.
@@rebeccahowell6538 that would be way less safe... ha ha
@@MidLifeCruising95 Lol!
Steve please wear your seat belt properly!
My seatbelt while driving sits right on top of my pacemaker. That is the reason I adjust it to the side. Thanks for watching!
As long as you are safe . Xx

Yes, thanks!!
Copenhagen is beautiful just like you said! Thank for the video!
Thanks so much for watching!!
do the math, all the money the residents have paid do not cover all the Villa Vie expenses with equipment, fuel, staff etc..... so how long will it be before they declare bankruptcy.
Hi friends , not long now , they had a crew party which is a good sign , trials went okay this time , , take care xx
🎉🎉🎉🤗🤗💕💕🇿🇦🇿🇦🎥👍
Thank you!
until that ship leaves with you on it, it is still a scam
Hoping that is soon!
Oh, stop it. If it was a scam, I don’t think Villa Vie would be spending all this time and money fixing up the ship and going through everything to get certifications.
I reported you as a troll and scammer.
@@cindym.1618Sounds like you’re made for an HOA community.
