The first time I listened to these 2 songs I was also more invested in the videos themselves than the songs but TODAY I'M OBSESSED WITH BOTH SONGS, specially the "new hair, new tee, NewJeans, do you see" line it's stuck in my head!!!

I believe the dance style with all the arm throwing is called waacking. It’s awesome, I really like how they incorporated those dance moves in this song
It's not really waacking... It's missing key elements of it.
They're the first kpop group that actually makes me want to be part of their group yk? Like I often wanted to be a kpop member because a member was particularly good at singing or she's super pretty, but newjeans genuinely makes me want me to sing their songs, practice their moves, be part of their project, befriend the members etc. And Im a woman in mid 20s 😂😂. Something about them makes me think about my youth and my 'unlived memories/experiences'. Its quite melancholic but also I just feel joy watching them work toward their success and build something special in their lives.
Im surprised how repetitive the choreo is and yet it doesn't feel boring or overdone..its so weird😂

New jeans is an explosion of joy and energy, the vocals, the charisma, the dancing EVERYTHING is clear and perfect, they bring this wonderful concept and they NEVER disappoint, they are like friends joking while dancing and singing, we feel their connections in beautiful shape! (I REALLY LOVE DANIELLE AND HANNI'S VOCALS, THEY ARE SO PRETTY) ❤

If their songs contain a lotta English lyrics, that's how you know Newjeans is loved worldwide!! It's easier for international Bunnies to sing along as well!! And to understand the songs better 💖 also i feel like zumba is seen by the youth nowadays as a lame "grandma" activity but Newjeans makes it look super fun and cool!! So love how Caitlin pays attention to the details while enjoying the song and visuals!! And i really like that the choreo for the chorus isn't repetitive and it isn't super different every time. I feel like a lot of kpop GGs try so hard to make sure it's not boring and make like 4 different versions if choreo for the chorus part of their songs. But this is only 2. It somehow doesn't even feel as repetitive as looks, Because it's so fun and different!

Hey! Peoples opinions are going happen regardless but I believe in setting my boundaries and speaking up for myself. I wouldn’t really call that an “overprotective mechanism”. I don’t even talk about all of the shit I see and read about me on here so I would say I don’t really mention it often unless I feel like I need to.
