Took me 36yrs to get a fish over a 100lb. Finally at 50yo I got a blue fin tuna at 102lbs. lol. Now I have a goal of 105lbs!

When we were in Darwin years ago, the mozzies up in NT are as big as greyhound dogs. So I talk to some Aboriginal guys about what they use.

Gday Joe, ive allready watched the first 2 vids,, Im no expert but it makes sense to me how your Kiwi bro:s Nato and Milan fish on The Lateral Line,, they dont just tire themselves out all day casting lures,, they catch live baits and have them out also plus a big hunk of meat dangling on the waters edge for a burley trail . If they want a rest from casting well fish attracted to the burley might not be able to resist the live bait . I typed this after your disapointment talk and when u got back to Cavy with his chewed Mackeral, now il watch the rest . Good on ya mate .

When i srarted GT fishing i didnt catch anything for the first 2 years.... until last year i caught my first one then i started racking them in the rest of the year... 😁 largest gt so far was almost 70#'s

Dude, do you know when you have choppy water, instead of surface lures or sinking (that eventually resurface when you animate them) sticks, you could/should try a diving lure...I have a particular one in mind that I would give a shot...the Maria Boar SS195. ;)

Always have hydrogen peroxide for the scratches from barnicals , nearly lost my leg to infection from a scratch some yrs. back. Great vid bubbas yew

Good evening, congratulations on the content, I'm loving it, I would like to know how to make your action camera not heat up, I realized that you can record a lot of time simultaneously, I have one and it heats up a lot!!
Try using J hooks instead of trebles on the Lures, should have better strike rate in my opinion. Awesome videos keep it going mate

In my experience.... when you spot a fish, don't launch the lure directly at it, cast it long and bring it past the fish. I think this might change your luck :) Great content nonetheless

Here in southeast Texas we call it being “Snake Bit”…
My worst stretch ever was a Ten Month Period 2017 into 2018. Fishing hard with my young Sons. My Boys were catching plenty of fish… Left, Right and Center around me… Throwing Live bait, Cut bait, Artificials of all kinds.
My youngest was Six years old and Hammering the fish. He’d get tired of reeling in fish, reel up and set his rod aside to take a break. I’d pick his rod up and… Nothing. He’d come back pick up my rod, and he’s ON! Same with my oldest Son.
Not One Single Bite…
I’ve experienced a Slump here and there… but this one was BRUTAL… And the Smack Talk… “Here Daddy, you wanna reel this one in?”. “Look Daddy, I got another one”. “Hey Daddy, how many FISH have you caught?”
This went on for 50-60 TRIPS…
And then one cold, cloudy and windy day… My stay in Fishing HELL was over. I was Hooking Up and Catching Fish Again!
Never known anyone else to be “Snake Bit” this bad, but I lived it.
Clearly the Fishing gods thought I needed to pay more dues.

In my personal experience land based fishing GT's are out there the most in rough waters
i have the same matrix skills with lures comin at me.. i have been tested to my limits through the years by flying sharp hooks - yet i am so uncoordinated and dorky that i often get hit in the head by frisbee's and maybe even a low flying bird..... go figure
