Loved the tip about cutting the plywood! :) I'm not sure that this is how I'd have made these shelves but yours look better that mine probably ever would.
Something that I'd definitely add is a strip at the back of each shelf to reduce the annoyance of absolutely *everything* deciding that it would rather fall into the gap taken by the shelf when it slides out.

Really liking these sliding pull-out shelves. Nice build.

Thanks for shooting your project. Nice editing. I bought the cabinet-back brackets so I shouldn't have to have a filler along the cabinet side and the slide. The Lontan video shows only the non-face frame install (that I could find), so maybe I'll post my project. My woodworking is going to be minimalist...I'll probably go with 45's when I wrap the 1x4 around the plywood, nailed and glued.

Very practical and functional! I think the sides should have been an inch taller (just to act as a lip so stuff doesn't slide out when you pull), but other than that this is fantastic and I'm sure you're very happy with the update.

Incredible coincidence, I did the same thing this weekend to my cabinet, even storing my Ninja Foodi and blender on the bottom shelf and measuring the height to fit them :D
Even the box colors are the same - what are the odds on that.

I’d love to do this in my kitchen sometime! I always wanted a trashcan that’s hidden in a cabinet too. lol Next project?

That's a good idea. Sadly I don't have enough time to do all the things I'd like to do.

I think, when you are about to give us a hint for breaking down plywood, you're saying you put a sacrificial layer of foam board down. My youtube video projects are edited similarly (edit the video and then do a voice over). But when I use the power tools, I sometimes forget to adjust the volume.

That was intentional and was meant as a joke.

Eine feine Idee.....hätte ich auch gern, nur leider habe ich keine Kraft und dazu zwei linke Hände, wie man so sagt.
