Thanks for the good review. I shot a 686 in 28g some years ago and immediately fell in love! However, as a cost effective introduction to clays with my kids I picked up an O/U and a SxS, both 20g, as you mentioned they are Turkish by Yildiz. And @ about $450 each they are fabulously fun to shoot, 100’s of shells and they are just fine. And not bad looking (for anyone interested I had to visit maybe 8-10 stores basically just to find the best wood, and then improve it. Until recently there was only one distributor in the US, fortunately I live in Texas). Having a modest budget I was looking at the SP1, but for a touch more the SP3 seems with the wait. For clays. And a CZ Sharptail for the field!
687 silver pigeon 3 , absolutely fabulous ! Simulated game drive today shot goodness knows how many cartridges through it? And could do it all over again! I would highly recommend this fantastic gun , purchased in last couple of weeks from shooting sports Uk
Struggling to see how the 686 in this video is less boring that m 686 built in 2013. Browning Citori's and Beretta Silver Pigeons have been fantastic guns changing little over the years except for cosmetic make overs and very minor mechanical changes. ALL great guns!
The Field version does not have vented barrels, whereas the Sporting one does. Also worth remembering is that the adjustable stock version comes with a Schnabel fore-end, something not immediately obvious with any of the advertising. I've just bought one and love it.
Watched it again, maybe but I couldn't find the choke constructions supplied. Mine got five chokes: tightest of which is 1/2 which I find is very open to have dual use for hunting.
Great video, I love these guns and will buy one in grade 3 or 4 , I plan on buying the shotgun 20 GA, i have a very old 20 pump gun that parts for may be impossible to get so time to back it up with a newer and better gun. thank again for your video.
Please for the love of god review the hatsan flash in .177 or .22. Not to sound negative bit it's incredibly difficult to get a F.A.C in the UK I get you rate guns but air guns are guns too and many more people have them . I like your vids they are well made in 4k verry comprehensive and even point out negative with the item you are reviewing (Not may people do this) . So will you please do some more air guns 😁 and the hatsan flash inpaticular also bsa have a lot of new guns coming out this year you could review them too 😉
@@MotoMadnessUK it's the good reason part lol I don't shoot on permitions ..I target shoot only and plink with my mates for fun . and my firearms officer didn't think "to get better groups at long range" as a good reason Lol . I basicaly wanted 18ftlb for my 177 so I can shoot 13grain and 16grain .177 pellets and slugs at 850 to 900 fps to get a flat trogectory .. 18ftlb would give that and basicaly make it a laser out to 30meters with standard 8.44grain
I came on here looking for 687 reviews and this one has to be the best. I am most definitely picking up one

The adjustable stock version of this, in Sporting, comes with a Schnabel fore end, something not immediately apparent from advertisements.
Interesting 🤔
This will do fine for my wife in Vittoria 20g 13.5 ins stock x 28 ins. Also my 10yr old Grandson. Thanks for the review.
Perfect
Picking mine on Saturday, can't wait
hope you like it, i liked it that much i brought the game version
I have this gun and super happy with it, however the engraved sides are not the same as told in this review, different scene on each side.
Glad you’re happy with it

I have the 28' game version. Fabulous gun ...
How are you getting on with it now?
bought one, picking it up tomorrow can't wait (its my first shotgun) hopefully it will last a long time 😁
Tengo una pregunta, para tu gusto cual es mejor arma la 690 o la 687 nueva?retroceso, bonita y demás.
Depends on what it is being used on, 690 for clay shooting an 687 for hunting. But if I could only have one gun for both I would go with the 690.
Owning a 71cm Field Version. Nice gun and not too heavy.
Agreed
Sport is 3.5 kg , field is 3.1 kg

I don’t think it’s less boring, both are pretty boring, not to say they aren’t great.
Really enjoyed the review; if this is a great 2nd gun, what would be a good 1st gun for entry level sporting clay? Thank you!

Will the '687 Silver Pigeon III' with an adjustable stock be good for Olympic Trap and DTL?
It will be ok, but there are more specialised guns for these
Can I use it for mix use, field and clays in the 71cm model sporter?
Buen vídeo!puede ser tu mejor vídeo.
Me parece muy bonita,poco retroceso.
Me gusta mucho más que las 690.
👍
I have a question about the barrels ventilation on the beretta website it doesn't show ventilation of the barrels

Wicked video cool gun
Thanks
How come I cannot see this gun anywhere or find any info on the sporter?
Its brand new, mine is the first review.... its on the uk distributors page. www.gmk.co.uk/product/687-silver-pigeon-iii-sport/801
@Newrounder Any luck finding one? I've been keeping an eye out for about a month...
@@5pencer I don’t think they’re available in the US market. I want one so bad.
@@christopherhearell2837 same still can’t find any info on the sporter in the us market
What beretta are the most new one upgraded? Is the silver lll the newest one?
Newest yes, but the 694 is technically far superior
@@IRateGuns what the 695 has that the silver lll doesn't? Thank you for your input, I am looking to buy it but I am trying to learn about it better!

Why did you say both sides are identical when both game scenes are different? One has a pheasant and one has a partridge.
because I am only human ;)

you will be happy to hear there is a BSA r10 video coming in two weeks, and more airguns on the 23rd of June and 21st of July,

The music makes hard to see the video.
which music, the intro? over the shooting?

You shoulder the weapon before calling.....but good review !
ok, firstly its a gun not a weapon, secondly in FITASC it is against the rules to call pull with the gun in your shoulder, same in Olympic skeet too.
I won't be buying one anytime soon
thanks for sharing
