I just bought a 687 Silver Pigeon III field with 26.5” barrels in 12ga. I can’t wait to test use it for dove, quail, chukar, pheasant and cottontail rabbit. My 45 year old SKB is going to get a breather in the field now. My 687 came with 5 Beretta chokes but my dealer threw in two additional Beretta chokes for me (Skeet USA and Light Modified). Now my 687 has 7 chokes!!! 😊
.....great review! I bought a pair of Beretta Black extended Light Modified chokes for my new SP III Sporter with 30" barrels and they throw a great pattern. One of the biggest differences compared to the older SP models is the comb height; it's around 3mm higher and is a much better fit for me and handling is faster...
I notice that Beretta changes the engraving a bit. Perhaps with different gauge shotguns. For instance, the gun in this video has a woodcock on one side and a quail on the other. My 12ga 687 has a quail on one side and a rooster pheasant on the other side. Interesting.
I've shot a 687 for the last 30 years, Excellent gun and i doubt i shall ever change it
I have an AL391 that I won't be getting rid of!
You have to have this gun a little bit longer so will know how good this gun is.I am very happy that I bought this gun

Hey mate I recently bought a Benelli Lupo and was curious on how you mounted your bipod to it?
Field is it for hunting or sports skeet sorryfor the question
It strikes a balance between both field and clays making a great choice for those who like both pursuit’s.
I never saw any one shoot buck shot out a over_ under why?
You should think that one thru .
looks like he is up to his knees in mud
