I also have this problem with intrusive thoughts but also sometimes self doubts, salvation doubts and sinful dreams. When I wake up I literally wake up with feeling i have sinned, Its hellish. I wish you strenght, what helps is turning to Jesus always with everything, especially against these evil attacks.

You recognize the sin and with his help you can overcome anything. Repent in your heart. Go deeper and longer in prayer, away from others when nobody is around so that you can cry and shout if you need to. As the saying goes, even when I don't see it or feel it, you (God) are working. So whether you feel it or not , keep praying daily for this so he knows your commitment to change. All he wants is a relationship with you, and he will do the rest. Do your part and trust in him for the troubles you can't change. Repent but also rejoice in knowing that he can and will change you. Don't get stuck in the mentality of a sinner. This is exactly what I needed to hear. I have disciplined myself to fast, but I still give in to other temptations of the body such as drugs and pornography. These words have opened my eyes to the way forward.
Do you go to confession and receive Holy Communion? Praying the rosary each day and Angelus three times a day at 6am, 12pm and 6pm helps me with this, but I still struggle to let go of it. But it's not so much a constant obsession.
I am late, but a tip I have to always remember how you feel after finishing. The devil plays tricks and makes it seem like it would be so thrilling, but really it is utterly lame and ends with guilt that is beyond being worth it. No matter how good it feels, it will never be worth it

Temptation begins long before the choice of Yes or No. Remove the path to Temptation, the pattern of behaviour that ends with the choice. For example, going to a party and the Temptation is to drink alcohol. Don't go to the party and the path to Temptation is removed, the Yes or No choice is gone.
