Thank you for explaining the inside workings of the E61 group head and how to disassemble and put back together with the new parts.

Excellent video. Really helpful with detailed instructions the whole way. I’m normally pretty useless, but with your help I did a perfect job. Thanks!

I have seen a few good videos on overhauling an E61, but this is by far the simplest and clearest one I've seen. Putting the overhaul kit on order!

This is so helpful! Thank you for taking the time to put this video together. I rebuilt my E61 today and this made it so simple. You're a great teacher!

This is a very useful video, and honestly very well done! But, I also died a little bit every time that wrench touched the chrome.

for those of us who have the profitec models (or maybe others) the top assembly has some extra steps to unearth the gicleur and filter screen- at around the

I didn't make it three years before I wore out the top brew valve. I may have made it happen faster by adding a flow control valve. I had zero flow. In hindsight I was operating the flow control valve more and more open as the parts wore out.

    Best video on the topic.

Good video.. I was able to rebuild my E61 easily. However, some of the parts were different from the ones I pulled from my Rocket Mozzafiato V. Make sure you don't discard the old parts before you are done. I just cleaned the old parts and put them back in.

How long should you soak the e61 group parts in Cafiza? I heard that could damage the finish??

When installing the camshaft lobe must be sitting on the bottom valve ? Evey one else says the camshaft lobe must face out front towards the front of the machine but when I do that the camsahft is stuck and dosnt move

The lever spring and the drain valve spring are about the same size, and can be confused, so to be clear, the lever spring is the stronger spring, right? Great and clear instructional video, thanks.

Excellent video, could have saved me a lot of headaches (like a real silly attempt to install the camshaft with the pre infusion chamber in) if I had this as a reference for my first rebuild a few months ago. 😅

  • @Dougie085

Is this the same for solenoid versions of E61's? I have an electronic one that doesn't have a manual lever. I can't find any of these videos that talk about this version at all.

I have a Lelit Bianca machine for 7 months,(it has the E61 group head as well), and I have always a problem. The up-down lever is always stiff.I called the dealer twice. The first time,he put lube after he took out the camshaft,it was OK,but 10 days after I have the same problem. Then,I called him again, and then he changed the camshaft, put some lube again, the problem seemed to be solved, but 10 days after,i have the same.I clean the machine every day with Puly Caff, and I use a Brita Purity C150 Quell ST regulating it to 60. What can I do please now?

  • @FCF09

I’ve rebuilt my machine and my drain valve is steaming. Can you please help me troubleshoot?!?

For the life of me, I cannot get the first bolt off the cam assembly. I need thinner wrenches I guess and yours came right off. I don’t know how people do it, lol. I’ve tried many times. Now it’s all scratched up so time to replace the outer assembly. Ugh! As a women, I don’t find any of this very easy to do!
