I loved this video weylie! Especially cause these are smart and honest answers. And I agree with the anger coping method. When you were talking about it it reminded me of this quote I really like, "a moment of silence in a moment of anger can save a thousand moments of regret." And I think that's so true cause we can say such hurtful and regretful things when we are furious.

WEYLIE! I loved the part when you talked about how to not be angry when arguing. It is so hard to control your emotions when you're arguing and so emotional about a certain subject. I've been in a relationship for 7 years and of course you get into arguments. I am the type of person you are - I want to settle it right there and then. My boyfriend is exactly like Wah - he want to cool down and just let it pass. So sometimes it clashes because we both handle emotions differently. But being in a relationship takes a lot of compromise and COMMUNICATION! I enjoyed this video so much! It's always good to hear another woman's perspective! Thnx!!!!

Love this video even though I'm not in a relationship at all, I think you've given good advice to everyone! When you talk about arguments, I remember an advice from a tutor of one of my short course and I want to share with you all: no one in an argument want to lose, even when we know we're wrong, especially women (not being racist, but we know we tend to right?). So the best way to end the argument is to say "you're right", and that's probably even more effective than saying sorry.
I could so relate to your "mad" story. I'm also the type of person that we are not done until everything is resolved! It's in us, it's our blood. Love you Weylie!

Gurrrrrrrrl, I agreed with you on every point. Especially the part about walking away from heated arguments so that you don't end up doing or saying things you'll regret later. I'm so hotheaded, so when me and my boyfriend argue, it's SO hard to just let it go for a moment and come back when I'm not mad anymore because I will STAYYY MADDD!!😭😁 I have the hardest time trying not to make the situation worse and I know that's something I need to work on lol, I get it from my mama.
I love these kinds of videos so much! And that lipstick is bomb af, so purty! Side note, on whether being too similar in a relationship is a bad thing, it is actually better for couples to be similar ideologically (religion, politics, values) rather than opposites. The psychological researched route supports "bird of a feather flock together" rather than "opposites attract." Of course, this is not a hard and fast rule as opposites can have a long healthy relationships and super similar people can crash and burn. Just wanted to inject the knowledge I know from my psychology courses (as I am that major). Love ya Weylie!!! :)

This was so helpful, i'm 17 and i've been with my boyfriend for two years and i've known him since we were 4 yrs old. we're moving in together soon and we're planning on getting married. I really appreciated the beginning part about surprises and the "boring stage" of the relationships. It made me realize that i'm being harsh on my boyfriend :( i loved the beginning of our relationship when he surprised me all the time, but when you said that life catches up to us and we don't have time for that, even though we love each other, it really struck a chord with me. I realized that when we started dating, i was a junior and he was a senior in high school, we had no jobs no responsibilities and money to spend on things that weren't priorities. I guess i realized "damn. I'm getting older and so is he." He works a full time construction job for me, and he spends every penny on our future and getting me things that I want (like makeup lol!!) Even when I ask him why he doesn't buy things for himself, or quit and get a easier job that's not so stressful he tells me it's all for me because he loves me and i'm worth it. People can be selfish for so long and never realize what they have, i'm guilty of that. He's so good to me, I need to appreciate him more. Thank you so much Weylie

I love this video so much! You've made a lot of points in this video about relationships. I was in a long distance relationship for four years with a guy who is almost two years younger than me. The age gap and distance really made me insecure in the first year due to people judging. Now we're happily married. We definitely overcame the impossible.

In your next relationship talk video (if you make another one), do you think you can talk about finances? Ie. How do you and Wah decide to split/share your income; what to do if a couple is in a relationship where neither makes an income or only one makes an income; what to do if your partner is really stingy; etc. I know money is something not many people like to think about when in a relationship, but I feel like it's a necessary and important topic especially for those in a committed relationship.
