We had linemen escorted by police come through our neighborhood and restore our power today. We all cheered and hollered as they came through. They worked quickly. So thankful!

No these people paid for it with their time. I'll just be happy if the regular lines go down. The lines are huge paying for gas. I can't imagine how long they will be with "free" gas. Probably have to wait all day. If you break down the cost you are working for less than minimum wage waiting for this "free" gas. Just send the gas to the stations and let us pay for it with money not our time. I'll figure out how my time is most valuable.

Gov. DeSantis, Please consider having MOBILE FUEL TANKERS that are equipped to disperse fuel directly to personal gas cans or directly into vehicles on the highways and roadside in an emergency evacuation crisis. Many people ran out of gas before they could exit for fuel due to traffic congestion. Thank you for an excellent job in these weather emergencies!

Lived in Naples, Florida during Charlie and Wilma. Fuel trucks had FHP escorts to get to stations along I-75 that had generators. Desantis doing everything he can to get things back up and running. Like him alot.

Canadians love florida too ; alot of them are there in the winter months.
Many apartments in Tampa are without power. Since there is no property damage. FEMA claims are being denied. Today the fridges are empty. The water is cold. The fuel is still low or out. Many cannot return to work without power.
