It's HUGELY expensive as well. I'm not sure it's worth the expense, then again I need to get started again! In this world, people have become so
selfish that we are starved for encouragement and validation. I too find it difficult to fight the urge to post things and do things for my own
attention. Thank you Sandy for always pointing us BACK to GOD. That is the point of our journaling!!
I agree on the cost for what it’s worth--but I’m glad I could get it and show it - and save others some budget if it’s not suited to their needs. 😍
@@biblejournalingwithsandyal6004 I am as well. It's wonderful that you can do that. It makes the decision easier if someone who knows does the demo and uses it. I'm thankful for your thoughtfulness.
It is always a good thing to be reminded why and who we work for. I often have to remind myself of this. Social media has made it so easy for us all to stray from our purpose . Thank you for sharing your thoughts Diane
I completely relate...I too have to check my motivations when it comes to journaling. I love seeing all the likes and comments when I post
I enjoyed this. Thank you. God Bless You!
I am so glad I found you!!!
Thank you for the inspiring video and the 'check my motivation' reminder.
I love that you emphasize that you have to be careful about your motivation. Thank you for your wonderful inspiration and encouragement.
I love this lesson!
Your story echoed the message from my pastor at church today. About becoming a disciple, which means your desire for self (and personal glory) dies. Not an easy concept but one worth pursuing. Great job as always Sandy!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this Bible. As for motivation, I think we can all get caught up sometimes in why we share things. I know I have. Thanks for the encouragement to be sold out for Jesus. 💕
I just took the marketing panels out of the box - makes more room for my chunky Bible!
I am Realtor and I LOVE this idea. Definitely going to try it. Thanks for sharing it.
Always love your journaling Sandy! So inspirational!
Love ❤️ this!!!
Love your videos.
Motivation ... which I call intention is so important. I try to ask myself why I am doing something because questioning my intention keeps it real for me. You are a great example, Sandy, so thanks for sharing and keeping it real. Your illustration is perfect!
Thank you for the great reminder - to focus on Jesus!
Love your creativity Sandy! :) Also, amen! I have to check my heart all the time. It's easy to fall into having wrong motives. I'm finding that transparency helps. Thanks for sharing your struggle to encourage and exhort us all.
‘Check motivation at the door’. That’s is great that you realize this issue. When I share my bible journaling on social media, I pray that someone, even if only one person, gets blessed and maybe questions their spiritual place in life. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for sharing the word!
I just ordered your book from Barnes and Noble. ☺
Love your creativity and your honesty.
I love your motive for Bible Journaling. It is mine as well. Thank you for sharing your heart and love for Jesus FIRST, then the art. God Bless!!! Always a joy to watch!❤️🙌🏼☺️This “kiddo” loves your videos lol
I love the way you used the sign to show your citizenship in heaven - and thank you for the Be Thankful prompts too
Thanks for sharing your time, perspective, & creativity with us! I bought this Bible a month ago & I have yet to utilize it, so this video helped me ALOT Sandy!!! ✨💗✨
Sandy you showed that the markers bled through the page, did the watercolors also bleed through? Thank you for showing us this book I don’t think it’s for me if the bleedthrough is that bad.
No the watercolor didn’t bleed at all.
Thank you so much Sandy for answering me so fast, I really appreciate that. God bless you!
I use the Gansi Tambi and they bleed through unless you Gesso. @@biblejournalingwithsandyal6004
You must use them differently than I - or you're considering ghosting to be bleeding, which I don't. I find GT work great. But that's why I always tell people to test on their own too.
I have had the Bible for a bit now and finding watercoloring is not the best for this Bible, I like my Journal the word for that. If you just want to scrapbook this is fine. You have to Gesso and even then it peels like a regular piece of cardstock which it doesn't do that in my other Bible. I don't care that my pages are perfect and all that, but I do care that I try to make my Bible look the best to my ability. I can't help it I care :) It big and hard to work with I find. It very pretty and I find that it is best to wait and see the reviews for what you want your own personal self in your bible before buying. I gotta tell the truth on this one :)
It’s not awful, it’s just different. More like watercoloring on copier paper-on Bible paper it slides more. But I’ll keep trying. 😍
Don't care for the Bible but love the journaling you done. Good job and it's good to always check ourselves.
I have to admit that I was going to buy one of these bibles until I saw that “perfect for social media” selling point. It made me feel that the motivation behind selling it wasn’t to help people get into God’s word more, but to help people promote themselves more. It left a nasty taste so I didn’t buy one.
I enjoyed watching this video. I’m in California and I have not been able to sleep. So I’ve been up since yesterday. Never the less, thank you for the sketch. I will participate in the November challenge. I’m excited about that!
Love this video , my reaction was different when saw that marketing though , I think it's wrong they put that , it's kinda setting it up for the wrong reasons , my opinion ..its a beautiful bible though! And I'm so glad I found your channel , checking out your other videos ! :)
What does it say on the blue square when you first open the Bible?
What size is your rolling ruler and where do you get those?
There are tons of brands-I think I got this one at the grocery store in the school supplies section.
@@biblejournalingwithsandyal6004Is it a 6 inch?
Sandy, I think you are being way to hard on yourself. You can be in this world and still be in God’s world too. It is not an either or situation. You have a God given talent and a God given ministry to share God’s word. (Remember the person drawing in his bible during church and you were the only person who saw him? That was God’s personal call to you) He is using you and modern technology to reach so many people who might otherwise never know the joy of being in relationship with our Lord. Your Bible journaling has led me to delve deep into my Bible and into a deeper relationship and love for God. If you weren’t on social media I and many others would not have had this opportunity. It is okay to be excited, happy and want more likes and want more people to subscribe. You are doing God’s work and He wants you to continue and to reach more people. God wants you to be happy and nothing can ever separate you from God’s love. Just as ministers in churches are paid an income so you need an income to live also. This is your job and it is on and through social media that earn your income. You are building your business and by doing so you are spreading God’s word.
Thanks. I know all this is true. But I also have been through enough motivationally with the Lord that I don’t want to ever be sent to the wilderness again to get my priorities straight. (Ha. At least in this area!) 🤣
Well said, well said! And AMEN!
I don't do social media, I just watch the TH-cam that are put out by all of you awesome people. I don't care for this Bible, but I know some people who I am sure would. lol Thank you for another great thought and tutorial. Hugs and Blessings
wow. I don't get that motivation vibe from you at all - just so you know! it feels that you are wanting to share the positive, love-filled feelings you get out of spending time with the Lord.
Spiral is annoying. Sorry not worth it. 😊💜
As always, I love your imagination with your pages. I don’t think I’m very impressed with that bible, tho. Too big, too heavy and those coils would make me NOT want to journal. Anyhow, thanks for the review because all input is good ❤️
