I'm am a Mechanical CAD designer. I was looking for such hand sketch tutorial and Sketch software tutorial to improve my cad. And finally I found your channel. Thank you so much for this kind of content. I pray may the almighty Allah (The Creator of world) make your wishes fulfil
I just started the 20 hour challenge the other day because I found one of your videos and fell in love with your channel! I also want to become an industrial designer now as well! Keep up the amazing videos!
Right now I am actually doing it on sketching like you did because I have tried to learn it before and it didn't go to well, aka I got distracted to easily lol but this time I'm focusing and gonna get it down! And when I'm done with this one, I definitely want to do more 20 hour challenges!
Way to go Jacob! You got from 400 up to 3k subscribers in less than 5 months. Nice video on Fusion 360. I was actually waiting for you to do a tut or review on it after you mentioned you'd check it out on your summer break. Keep it up!
The links for "Introduction to CAD" and "Car Design" do not work for me. When redirected to the website it sais "Login required" but I'm already logged In. Is that because these courses have been deleted/changed or am I the only one with this problem?
It is avery nice idea to learn any thing in Just 20 Hours It is fast to learn I would like to know how I can distribute my time to learn well Thanks alot
What are the specs of your laptop that you used in the video? Also, did Fusion 360 run smoothly on your laptop, and if so, did you notice any difference between having it plugged in all the time compared to unplugged?
Stupid question... I'm not a student because I'm over 40 and I'm not an educator, I'm a hobbiest that I want to use Fusion 360 and this is the best way to learn... Is there a way to do this tutorials on the autodesk as a hobbiest? Thanks for your answers.
what is the actual tool that you used called? and maybe you know why do you have the 'sculpt' cestor, and I dont have it in my Fusion 360? great video btw, keep it up!
Hey, I just wanted to thank you for your videos! Your content is great and is both really fun to watch and helpful for making decisions about my possible career path. I love design but I don't know whether I need to go more towards engineering... Anyways, your videos really show me what being a design student is but also whilst learning about softwares or techniques! So thank you!! Keep it up 👍👍
Go for engineering. With an ABET accredited Engineering degree you can do whatever you want at any point in your career. If you stick strictly with design, you are stuck there and can't move up.
Good video bro. I love your philosophy because it's not an easy fix. 20hrs is a lot of time, especially when you work full time and have a toddler and a baby! Lol
hello, I'm going to design school in a couple of months the school require downloading Solidworks, it's very expensive and I don't think it can be downloaded to a MacBook , does fusion 360 does the same job? and it is free
Waaaiiit a fellow left hannnndddeerrrrr. Awesome work by the way your videos have inspired to me to put more dedicated practice into the things i want to do
Ha, thanks. If you are brave and willing to work hard then you probably can. Or at least that is what Casey Neistat and so far I have found it to be true...
Fusion 360 because you can do both free form and parametric modeling in it. However, I haven't fully tried Rhino yet, so maybe my opinion might change. I'ver heard it's good.
I want to say that there are many different cads for different things. With ours we never could make such a car. But its more for specific more accurate things
High end Cad software like Siemens NX and Catia have an industrial design workbench that is designed for exactly this type of industrial design work. It is usually the most expensive option in the software so if companies don't need it they don't add it.
Great work, now make that Jaguar concept model! Real learning happens through struggle, and don't be afraid to start over. Many times it's faster than trying to fix the mistakes in the current one.
I was inspired until I loaded fusion 360, went for a tea break then remembered I am dedicated to being a procrastinator and I refuse to be a quitter once I have dedicated my self to something.
Well done with the finished project that you done I learnt a cad package that took part of a college course for 18 months and we was learning the cad package for about 8 hours a week for that time & I got a city & Guilds Level Three diploma in cad, so yeah what ur wanting to learn can be done even with the help of the tutorials online, I was learning MAYA by auto desk by watching videos and I'd never used the package b4 that point keep up the gd work (maybe u could do the same for MAYA) be another gd challenge for you. Oh BTW u've got my sub to ur channel looking forward to watching👀 some of ur other videos 👍👌
That’s awesome have you thought about putting together a desk for all your work for example get a Mac or something and make an area where you can actually do work instead off that weird desk in the middle of your room
Yay, I was waiting for someone to find that blunder. I unfortunately only noticed my mistake after I had uploaded it. It's kind of like you found the Easter Egg to this video. :) I'm beginning to think maths was never my strongest suit. :-P
I have a question program Fusion 360 only online? And what if the company steals your project and based on your project develops its own and quickly and patents it? how can you prove that they have humped? because the program is only online!
It is in the cloud, but that doesn't mean you have to make it public. I don't think it would be in Autodesk's interest to begin stealing their customer's ideas. Good question though
Just add a lightning bold and it looks like Lightning McQueen from Disney's movie "Cars". I use Fusion360 but hadn't seen those tutorials you used before, I'm going to have to do those now. Thanks for inspiring people!

I just started the 20 hour challenge the other day because I found one of your videos and fell in love with your channel! I also want to become an industrial designer now as well! Keep up the amazing videos!
That's awesome! What will you be doing your 20-hour challenge on?
Right now I am actually doing it on sketching like you did because I have tried to learn it before and it didn't go to well, aka I got distracted to easily lol but this time I'm focusing and gonna get it down! And when I'm done with this one, I definitely want to do more 20 hour challenges!

Thanks, I am really happy with how it is going. And thanks for recommending Fusion 360 way back then, I am absolutely loving it.
The links for "Introduction to CAD" and "Car Design" do not work for me. When redirected to the website it sais "Login required" but I'm already logged In. Is that because these courses have been deleted/changed or am I the only one with this problem?
What kind of screen recorder do you use?
I love this tutorial so much and I loved that you showed what you used and the practice models you can make!

Hey Myrin :) which is better? Autodesk Fusion360 or Autodest Inventor? Thanks
What are the specs of your laptop that you used in the video? Also, did Fusion 360 run smoothly on your laptop, and if so, did you notice any difference between having it plugged in all the time compared to unplugged?
is fusion 360 worth it for electrical engineers ?
What a great video. Thanks for doing this and tested your 20 hour journey.

I have a class for that and you learned it in 20 hour
Neat!
I just want to ask how did you transfer your drawings from sketchbook to autodesk fusion 360?
Love these 20 hour bits you do. Brilliant stuff!
i'am gonna try your list of tutorials and if i fail it is because of you.
Haha man that was a true motivational video! Good job!
Good video bro. I love your philosophy because it's not an easy fix. 20hrs is a lot of time, especially when you work full time and have a toddler and a baby! Lol
what kind of tutorial did u use?
If I don't know nothing about CAD
amd I want to the 20h method to learn 3d modeling
which software is better 3d max or fusion 360
Fusion is more for manufacturing and prototyping while 3d max is more for making 3d models for computer games and things like that.
hello, I'm going to design school in a couple of months
the school require downloading Solidworks, it's very expensive and I don't think it can be downloaded to a MacBook
, does fusion 360 does the same job? and it is free
Yep, it is the same but better.
You are amazing dude :)
Thank you so much I used to do cad work but forgot the software thank you for the help
Dude...You are insane!!!

Waaaiiit a fellow left hannnndddeerrrrr.
Awesome work by the way your videos have inspired to me to put more dedicated practice into the things i want to do
Damn because of you i feel like i can do anything in life!
Ha, thanks. If you are brave and willing to work hard then you probably can. Or at least that is what Casey Neistat and so far I have found it to be true...
can i design furniture with this ? like very detail? bolts, screws etc
absolutely.
OMG I have learned Fusion 360 3 quarters of the way, thank you for the tips, I can now make my own TH-cam logo XD
Yeah right. Dont lie. Cant learn cad in 20 hours. Maybe draw a shity car.
What is your prefered CAD programme? Mine is Rhino!
Fusion 360 because you can do both free form and parametric modeling in it. However, I haven't fully tried Rhino yet, so maybe my opinion might change. I'ver heard it's good.
I really really like your 20hr method! keep it up!!
You are phenomenal
Hey i am a engineer and make this now for 5 years. But the cad's are very dirferent for what you want do do! But you turned out a really nice car!
Thanks. :)
Scheib Miro what do you mean?
I want to say that there are many different cads for different things. With ours we never could make such a car. But its more for specific more accurate things
High end Cad software like Siemens NX and Catia have an industrial design workbench that is designed for exactly this type of industrial design work. It is usually the most expensive option in the software so if companies don't need it they don't add it.
cool as always keep it up! btw do you use solidworks?
I can, but I much prefer Fusion 360. It is a better thought out piece of software and much easier to use.
Myrin then I will start using fusion 8 cuz I hate solidworks.
Loved the video!
Ahahaha, you cracked me up mate! What a character :)
This is really inspiring! Thanks Myrin!
Great work, now make that Jaguar concept model! Real learning happens through struggle, and don't be afraid to start over. Many times it's faster than trying to fix the mistakes in the current one.
NOTE: If you have the free version but not in school you can still enroll in the course. Thank you Autodesk!
Can you please whrite me the link that I can enroll in the course. Thank you.

That was a Wacom Intuos Pro, but now I use an iPad and the Apple Pencil.
Inspired me to pick up some 3D animation for my course this year
That is so cool to hear! :)
Impressive! gd work
I was inspired until I loaded fusion 360, went for a tea break then remembered I am dedicated to being a procrastinator and I refuse to be a quitter once I have dedicated my self to something.

Thanks man! :)
But which type of modelling was this in the end?
Did you 3D print your model? Cuz that's a whole 'nother ball game my friend.
Wow. You're amazing
Is there a software to design the insides of Car?
Like, under the hood
You could do that in Fusion 360 as well.
Very nice video : )
That’s awesome have you thought about putting together a desk for all your work for example get a Mac or something and make an area where you can actually do work instead off that weird desk in the middle of your room
That is probably a good idea.
nice work dude, will try this
but 1.5 hours for 30 days is 45hrs!!!
Yay, I was waiting for someone to find that blunder. I unfortunately only noticed my mistake after I had uploaded it. It's kind of like you found the Easter Egg to this video. :)
I'm beginning to think maths was never my strongest suit. :-P

Just add a lightning bold and it looks like Lightning McQueen from Disney's movie "Cars". I use Fusion360 but hadn't seen those tutorials you used before, I'm going to have to do those now. Thanks for inspiring people!
Love that cherry blossom tree.
