That's some pretty skillful maneuvering getting out of there!!! Still enjoying yours and Lintons videos!!!! I have still seen the both of you going thru Toronto.
Thanks! It wasn’t an easy job at all. From start to finish it definitely presented itself with continuous challenges. Made for a good day to test my patience and skill👍💪 Thanks for tuning in🍻
Haha ya that’s how it is most of the time dealing with my company unfortunately. You never know what you’re going to get until you get there. Thanks for watching👍
You need to know that the rear axles are not what is spec’ed for a dedicated tow truck, I worked for a tow outfit that put a tow bed on a regular truck and the rear axles were damaged from the weight and a welder came in to weld up the axle housing due to damage!!!!!!!!!!!!! A dedicated heavy tow truck is double framed and has heavy duty axles with bigger wheels and tires so things can get expensive really fast if unsure ask before you get going!!!!!!!!!!!!
This truck was fitted with a manual transmission and I wasn’t going far so I left it in neutral and went pretty slow to be safe. Plus bolts were completely seized anyways. The truck sat in a field for some time, would have required a torch to free up the bolts.
But yes, typically it is a good idea to remove the driveshaft whenever possible. Especially with automatic transmissions as they can be seriously damaged. Driveshaft or axles removed on the tractors.
A professional and smart savior using a powerful truck can solve any problem
Very true! Thanks for watching!

If you lift up with wheel lift. That unit should slide sideways

Are you supposed to remove the Drive shaft when towing
