@@cfatipsandtricks so you need to do the ”this story was published elsewhere” on Medium settings and leave the link to your blog there!! That’s crucial!

yeah, I make like $300/month from Medium Partner program, and the rest ($5,000+ usually) comes from Google rankings. But as I've said, it's not a fool-proof long-term strategy. Google might decide any day that "Ok today we're not showing Medium in search results anymore." So that's definitely something to build upon. It works right now.
That’s VERY competitive and YMYL of a niche. Can be very hard unless you have used the product and can share results / info that doesn’t really exist on the internet yet.
@jalliartturi Hey hope you are doing well,,, what's your opinion regarding SEO and the recent update love to hear your opinion, is it difficult for a brand new website to rank higher in the search results? And what would be the future of blogging
I have blogs doing really nice after the updates. But also I’ve seen my (inactive) blogs take a ”hit” or at least started to decline in traffic slowly last year/this spring. But yeah, RIGHT NOW it might be a bit harder. But who knows what the future holds.. for example if Google starts to slowly lose its marketshare or make good updates as they probably eventually will.
@@jalliartturi In your opinion, what kinds of blogs are doing well? Which things have you implemented, and what might be the cause of failed blogs? Do we have to maintain a commercial or informational intent? For example, can I create a website that just focuses on the best software types and all the relevant keywords? Would that be okay?
