This is what my mom realized after discovering my sister (12yo) talking to strangers on her phone and sending pictures of her and our house. You can’t put much trust to a child and, of course, a child shouldn’t be so “free” to do whatever they want or make important choices. I wasn’t taught like that. With me they were very strict and protective, so I grew up well. With my sister, they thought they could give her more freedom. The result, her talking to strangers and giving all her private information to them. I didn’t even agreed when they told me they would give her a phone when she was less than 10yo. I didn’t have one till I turned 14 and at that a time I only knew how to play Poo 🙄
