My play style is playing defensive so seeing this rework is amazing! The only down side now is as I’m setting up the defensive positions. As soon as the other squads fail their initial push. All the other squads are just hunkering down with me and end up losing because we didn’t take enough objectives lol
Still good to set up defensive positions and backline FOBs. A lot of games teams lose because they only have forward FOBs on the contested objective and maybe one on the prior objective and if they lose those they get rolled. You setting up those defensive positions isn't the problem the problem is the SLs and Commander not assigning a squad or two to hold on defense and another squad or two to push the enemy objective.
You should try using the canopy for AT guns next time (and AA guns) since for some reason the camo wall has no 1-side transparency for some reason (maybe bug, maybe not). The lean to is too small for the AT gun, but it works well with the SPG and M2 Browning.

One man guns, another spots, and the third stays ready with a shovel, to dig down the netting when the spotter finds a target, and to then dig the netting back up when the target has been destroyed or there is no target. This is to maximize concealment while not giving up the ability to effectively put rounds on target. It is better, though, to have a small squad (4-6 people) to maintain security and provide infantry support to the AT gun.
3 people max for such thing, best concealment is minimal player built concealment. people will actively look for things out of place, a camo net is a surefire way to attract attention. 4 people max if the squad does dedicated logi for themselves and other FOB's, 6 is too much and better be split instead, used to make another 3 man AT-gun/mortar team.
It's kinda lame to push that far up on their main. I know it's not technically main camping according to the server rules, but not being able to get out of your main absolutely ruins the game for an entire half of the server.
From the front yea, but modern MBTs don't have a good side and rear armor, basicly anything with more than 90mm penetration can go trough them, and the ZiS-3 have like 96mm(?) of penetration with its BR-350B MD-8 APHEBC, its more than enough to deal with IFVs, APCs and any lightly armored vehicles with 2-3 shoots.

@fdbj8795 When I tested it on the training range and looking at the video(s) posted it does not work like that though.
