Congrats you got the Tier list correct at least! Super Castlevania IV, Bloodlines, SOTN etc. Also you know not a lot of people dislike Curse of Darkness or Lament of Innocence but those are two of the best PS2 games ever made IMO and the fact they're Castlvania games is just icing on the cake.

I just beat Circle of the Moon two nights ago on my analogue pocket. I am hooked. Going into Harmony of Dissonace and then Aria of Sorrow after that. So much fun. I have always adored IV, Bloodlines, and the original. Still need to play III on NES, I’m sure I will love it.
All 3 are must haves for the GBA youre in for a treat.
Saturn SOTN Ultimate is like an entirety new game. I had been playing it but I got stuck in a few spots. The New Areas add absolutely nothing to the game. But Richter and Maria are playable right away and Maria plays differently from the PSP version. The other notch against it is they used the PSP Script.
I remember you telling me it was kinda tough.
I've also played the Homebrew Genesis SOTN demos. It's not accurate but the fact it even runs at all is amazing.
The things they're squeezing out of the Genesis boggles the mind.
Awesome video buddy. My fav is probably Bloodlines followed by SC4. I put the metroidvania games in a different category, but I think I prefer the original formula because they're so replayable. Aria of Sorrow is the best metroidvania title (and yeah I hate the term too)
I wish we could get a classic staged based vania again. Metroidvanias are really over done as a genre

I was not a fan of Castlevania Adventure, there was something about it that didn't feel right. I I remember Castlevania 4 was the first snes game I played on my ex's snes.I hate the fact that gba games are expensive as hell and had to get them on the Switch. I can't remember which one it was, but a gamestop near me was charging 80 bucks for a loose cart. I remember the clerk talking about how he low bailled the person selling it. I'm thankful to get some of the ds games without paying out of the rear and enjoy them. Thank you for reminding me I need to get Lord of Shadows. Mirrors of Fate is a great game in my opinion and has a great Mario easter egg.

Some interesting picks here. Surprised you ranked Dracula X as low as you did cuz even though it isn’t as good as Rondo it’s still not bad at least.

Dracula X is not great but i dont think its on the same level as adventure or lord of shadows 2 personally. weirdly enough there is 1 thing in Dracula X i do like more than rando is that there is one song in the game where i like how it sounds on SNES then PC Engine CD and that is Stage 7 Den. not that its a big game changer but something i can appreciate with that version
Belmonts revenge is surprisingly good for what it is but i still kinda liked legends for gameboy standards but i do agree it should have been more.
castlevania 64 was the first game i played in the series and even though i had no expectation i still did not liked it. but once i found out that castlevania had games before on NES and SNES i became a fan. curse of darkness is my favorite 3D game, so much fun. lmao castlevania ants thats a good way to sum up harmony of despair
It was for ants! It was a good idea for a multi-player though. I still think a vania MMO would be sweet.

Oh I have played 1&2 both are awesome. The team went on to make Wallachia: Reign of Dracula . Really awesome run and gun vania style game. That even has bloodstained dlc.
@@xanderskullion oh good... 😉 there is also the new chronicles 3 fangame but it is sadly a bit glitched and the maker is working on a patch
castlevania: the dracula x chronicles best, can play it on ppsspp emulator too perfectly.
