Awesome work. Have you tried stripping the mill scale off with vinegar, soak for 24hrs and wipe it off with a rag... use an old gutter for the long bits to soak in.
If I do chemical stripping I actually use a phosphoric acid and it only takes 5 to 10 mins but using it on big stuff is a pain cause I don’t have a bath long enough for them to sit in so that’s why on a strap set up like this I’ll just do it with the disc. Thanks for the suggestion or vinegar tho.
