Hi Brandon. Yes it is. #4 on top, and #1 is slightly lower at TDC. I’m just not sure if the marks are spot on @ 6:50, but it’s best to use a timing alignment tool like I did on the later part of the vid :)

Thanks for the video....I haven't need to use it yet, but it might have helped solved an issue. I just bought a 2012 BT50 with a 3.2 P5AT, got it very cheap at auction because it was listed as "engine knocking", but it's not, it's a metallic pinging sound from the head every 2nd rotation. Now that I've seen the rocker arms, I'm betting it a rocker arm bearing that's gone. I was thinking I might have to rebuild the engine, now I'm thinking it's a really easy fix....what's funny is I found an invoice to "fix" the engine pinging, the previous owner spent more than I paid at auction to put in new injectors and re-seat them, and replace the turbo only 3,000 Km ago 🙂
Hi great video , got same engine , tapping when running every second revolution sounds like lifters but been in there and nothing seemingly wrong they are all reasonably loose . No tapping when cranking . Any ideas ?
When installing the crankshaft into the engine body, as a rule, you should not install the bolts from left to right or from right to left, but rather from the middle to both sides.
there is a timing mark, but your supposed to use a plate that aligns the pump sprocket with the crank sprocket as the pump bolt holes are elongated and you can misalign it
Ano po problema sa montero 4n15 pag umaga pinaandar bigla na lang baba rpm (idle) isang beses lang(after mga (3-5 secs) yayanig po..tapos ok na..basta malamig makina may isang yanig po na baba rpm..na clean ko na trottle body po at maf sensor po..fuel filter changed narin po pati air filter po...wala kasing lumalabas naman na check engine..walang makita yung scanner po at maliit lang(basic) po ginamit ko scanner.

At 6:50, just for a visual reference for piston position, is this the same position you had it during setting timing/ is this at tdc?
You use the timing tool to set it up , it’s never on TDC . Some bright Ford engineers idea of fun 😊
