Whenever I have to go to the bathroom and the shower curtain is closed, I always check behind it. I've never had an experience where someone or something was there that has forced/traumatized me into this habit, but I always check.

Literally, when I was playing hide and seek once, I hid in between the plastic curtain and the fabric one, so when they did check in there they couldn't see me, but then my brother came in and used the bathroom. I did accidentally make a noise, but he didn't think about it. I stayed in there, silent the entire time, and when he left I stayed there. I won the game, and when they finally found me, my brother was like, "Wait... I was just using the bathroom." And I was like, "Yeah......... I was there." (My brother wasn't playing hide-and-seek btw) and we all laughed about it and my brother was grossed out, but we knew what was going on and it was fine. It was hilarious though.

When me and my girlfriend play hide and seek, it's...horrifying.
We turn off all the lights in the house, then I hide. When she finds me, I am given 10 seconds to run like a bitch. Then, she starts crawling on her hands and knees in GODSPEED with her hair in front of her face. I'm allowed to run freely through the house, but if she grabs my ankle, it's game over.
Rinse, repeat.

Don't mind me I'm just liking all the jaiden animation videos years after they were uploaded.
I used to clean toilets, and men had no problem peeing in front of me. It didn't matter if I was standing right there, cleaning the sink or in the stall, cleaning the toilet. They would come in, I would say, "I'm cleaning!" In my very feminine voice, and they wouldn't even hesitate and pee. This happened so often, it got to a point where it didn't even phase me. So one day a guy walked in, saw me cleaning and was like, "Oh, excuse me, may I use the toilet?"
"Sure," I said. I continued to clean.
"Um.... could you...?" He gestured for me to get the fuck out.
"Hmm..? Oh, right! Yeah! Sure!"
I think he was more embarrassed about it than I was. =P
I don't know how those guys do it, when ever just a single person walks in the bathroom I can't even if I'm not in a closed stall.

+OpTic KTG Once at a men's changing room for a public pool I left a stall after changing and looked over to where I saw a guy standing in the open, and right in front of him was his naked 4-8 year old. I'm not sure because luckily for me my vision blurred and I turned away so I saw nothing. I washed my hands and left awkwardly, hoping neither of them saw me look over. [I had to repost this, I accidentally posted midway through typing, twice].

+Mikko mike That sounds awful, especially for a 10 year old! My brother was about 18 when something like that happened to him. I think we were at some camp thing, but he was considered an adult, so he had to shower with the adults, which most of them were about middle aged I'm guessing. The showers was like one big room with a couple of pillars in a row with shower heads on each pillar. My brother was the only one who showered in a bathing suit there. It was opposite for the kids, only one person didn't have a bathing suit. Although yours still seems much more awful, especially since it wasn't just a few days, and you were ten. I hope you weren't too scarred and traumatized.
This happened to me actually... when I was twelve I decided to play with the little kids and entertain them. We played hide and seek and I actually hid behind the shower curtain because it would be easy for them to find me... a lady comes in, changes her baby's diaper, then uses the toilet. I had to be so freaking quiet because if she found me... well... things would not exactly be very pleasant

I’m pretty sure it was my birthday party. I had two friends over and we all decided to play hide and seek. So us (the two hiders) decided to both hide together behind the bathroom curtains. We hear someone come in and we thought it was the seeker, but we then heard the person PEE. we both were so terrified, I covered her mouth with my hand while I had a finger near my mouth (🤫) later when he left, we quickly exited the bathroom and decided not to play again.
This has happened with me with my cousin, so exactly the younger ones wanted to play hide and seek, I hid in the bathroom shower and when somebody came in I thought I was gonna get caught. But when he closed the door I realized what was gonna happen, I just stood there in the shower waiting and almost burst out laughing. When he left I was so upset (I didn't see him when he was doin' what he was doin, gross)

Idk why but I really liked those parties. I live in an area where almost no one is my age. Mostly everyone in my neighborhood is at least over 40. So I would try everything to hang out with other kids (besides school) so whenever there was a big room where other kids were, it was the best feeling ever. It's even better when a lot of them are in the same fandoms I'm in such as FNAF, Murder Drones, etc. then we make theories and even fanart if I brought my sketchbook!!!

This reminds me of a time me and my cousin's were playing hide and seek and I hid like...inside the grass 😂😂😂 and they kept trying to find me but couldn't and soon after ma cousin found everyone ( except me cuz im a hide and seek MASTER ) they all tried looking for me, after like 10 mins they came into the field I was hiding in and when they got to where I was the kinda....stepped on me like all of them ( there were 11 of us to be exact ) and I started screaming "ARE YALL BLIND?!".......those were good days 😂😂😂

Story: so my friend told me about when her and her cousins played hide and seek together and her cousin hid in a laundry basket that had a lid so you couldn’t see her it also was in the top of the stairs. So the seeker aka my friend other cousin thought it would be fun to kick the laundry basket without knowing somebody was in it. So she does it and the laundry basket and the girl go tumbling down the stair case and just as she réalisés somebody’s in there it’s to late. Luckily she was only bruised but moral of the story, DONT KICK LAUNDRY BASKETS. :)

One time I was playing hide and seek and some people and I decided to hide in the laundry room down in the basement. We turned the lights off to trick the seeker into thinking that nobody was in the room. The worst part was that someone got so scared that they farted. We were all dying in there from how bad it smelled and from trying to hold back our laughter! We were literally on the floor twitching from how hard we were trying to keep silent! One person almost peed from holding back their laughter! Then, the seeker kicked the door open and stared down at us like we were crazy, and slowly walked out, closing the door behind him. He also locked the door (the lock is on the outside) so WE WERE TRAPPED IN THE ROOM WITH A FARTING KID AND A GUY WHO NEEDED TO PEE.

And there you talked about a game that gave me a slight case of Athazagoraphobia! (Fear of being forgotten) So long story short, it wa at a classmates birthday party, and even though i was very uncomfortable of the idea, she insisted we should all play hide and seek. Outside. In the DARK! ANd you may be like: "Oh THaTS Not So BaD" But, YES! it is! Because GUESS WHAT! Twenty minutes after the game stopped and everyone went inside, when the doorbell rings. AND GUESS WHO RANG IT!? ME! Little crying me, who they had forgotten outside in the dark (Which i at that time was scared of) And they were just like "Oh, WelL We WilL EaT In 10 MinUtEs!" Like! Shut up! you left me in the cold! For at least 20 minutes, with no one noticing! And they lived an hour away, so my dad didn't want to pick me up and my mother wasn't home. So i had to sleep there, being extremely scared, having nightmares and traumatized for life. Sometimes i still have nightmares 'bout it and i get panic attacks when were playing hide and seek. Sorry if i sound dramatic, but if this happen to anyone, just talk with me about it! If you need of course!

I was at a i think christmas party, and all the kids decided to play hide and seek, so like three of us decided to hide in the bath tub, and a a lady came in to use to, but when she was done she opened the showed curtain and said 'you could have said something before i sat down'. Now i always check behind the shower curtain before using the bathroom. Its been 10 years.
