i started watching this stream in ice man's stage of mega man 1, fell asleep after crash man's stage in mega man 2, woke up to mega man 4's familiar songs, but just ALT + F4 the browser and went back to sleep, now i get to see the run in all it's glory.
Fire Man reacts to Mega Man shooting. If you don't shoot, you'll realize Fire Man doesn't shoot as frequently. Hopping over the fire attack and then moving forward slightly after makes it easier to avoid landing on the fire that appears under Mega Man after. I love MM1, it's one of my favorites, but can understand people's gripe with it. There's definitely a lot of issues.

Bawkba's reaction to the sphere boss made realize how ppl are SO quick to make their opinion nowadays. I understand he's streaming and not really playing for the fun of playing, which is sad; is the one thing I absolutely don't envy about game streamers/youtubers, they barely can just enjoy a game truly. I did enjoyed the video nonetheless.
Just for the record, you have exactly enough ammo to beat the boss and break the necessary barriers in 1 go, no need of farming or anything, you just need to get to the boss once, use your little brain, and you'll get it (hard to do when you're in a marathon stream trying to entertain ppl, specially with chat trolling/gas lighting/backseating all the time ).
I couldn't beat this boss when I was a kind (8yo); then I spent a period of like 2-3 years without an NES, and let me tell you, this boss haunted my nightmares, I thought about it a lot and I thought I had the solution in my head figured out; fast forward to when I had a NES again, the first thing I did was to play MM2 again to get my revenge, and the MOMENT I entered the boss room... It clicked, hit me like a bag of bricks and then I beat it first try and then the game, and then proceeded to beat the game every day after coming back from school, just for fun :)
Also, I still can't shake this weird feeling when ppl complain about metal blade, because even back then, I never used the special weapons, I know that's kinda the the point of the game, not to brag, is a thing like in rpgs where you hoard every potion just to not use them, I only used them here and there and until the final stages to see who was weak to what; and I kept doing that with all megaman games.

Removing the pause glitch in MM1 would be brutal! 😂 It’s hilarious that the true legacy of these games is how they get easier the further in you go 😂

One thing I figured out from watching ppl that never played these old games, is that you have to factor in the time in which those were made when you judge them. If you're gonna apply modern game standards to the games that were made when ppl where still figuring how to make them, you will always find them worse than they are, I know I've done it myself a time or 2. It's like that saying that goes "If you judge a fish based on its ability to climb a tree, you'll be always disappointed".
Like for example, Imo Chrono Trigger is one of the top rpgs ever made, but of course I know there are better ones, but I grade it based on when it was released, if you compare it to the bet rpgs of the modern era, it might hold its ground, but it's not gonna win.
6:52:00 The story is...That the game is incomplete (that's why is the only one aside 1 that has no intro). The plot was about Wily reforming and teaming up with Light; after you great Break Man, Light says "Wily ran with gamma after we got the last element", Megaman was supposed to travel the solar system looking for elements to build Gamma; MM2 bosses were filler most likely, honestly I haven't look up the entire history about this game.

Hot take: I think Wily Wars has better versions of all 3 games. No one will agree.
Him ranting about "jump and shoot man" as if it was backseating was incredibly cringe. Mega Man himself has been called "jump and shoot man" for actual decades. People calling the mimic Mega "jump and shoot man" was par for the course.
Yes, we'll make fun of you for it. lol
Real talk: MM was my least favorite series. It deserves the salt it gets from people. Its unapologetically bullshit.
