Would you treat subclinical hyperthyroidism if the patient has symptoms?

Dear doctor, greetings from Italy: so the complete pannel would be TSH, freeT4, FreeT3, totalT4, TotalT3 and Thyroid antibodies? Or something else? Thanks

Hi Dr. Christianson. I have Hypothyroidism, Addison's Disease, and Hypopituitarism. What kind of herbs should I take? I also would like to know what herbs and supplements can I take for swollen and blocked salivary glands? Thanks

    Hi Dr. C
So, Will TSH go up during the tapering? Or just at the end when you completely stop taking thyroid medication? Or both ? And when it does you said that is normal and we can keep the process of tapering with doctors supervision ride?

Is there new research that shows Total T3 is better than Free T3?

Not much research per se but there is a preference for TT3 among many thyroidologists.

Thank you so much. I've been suffering severe fatigue and weight gain which is not normal for me. I'm 65 no meds no previous health problems but this last year and last 3 mths severe fatigue struggling to work. I asked for test which was done in July 24' TSH T4 T3 FREET4 T3. TSH normal but H thyroglobulin levels. Dr didn't explain WHY, what causes or what can I do as he was running late. Gave me path test to do thyroid function test, se thyroglobulin antibodies but in dec but I'm struggling to work, to function, weight gain more yet extremely strict on no processed foods no junk no alcohol no snacks high protein low carb even cut my one piece of sourdough. My full blood count iron fine, H fasting glucose so frustrating. Thk you kindly.
