True. No one should have exclusive privilege over public space. I don't have any rights outside my compound so it is the same for them. If they want to keep their vehicles at arms throw they can convert a room in their rented space into a garage to park their cars.
Seperate parking lot should be constructed by the authority if tax is to be collected. Since every vehicle owners have paid road tax at the time of registration, tax should not be given because vehicles are parked on the side of the road and not a separate parking lot constructed by the DMC.
No need to pay tax for parking ...Be as it is like before. The government should stop these taxation because there was no such law written saying parking tax will be charged in future. They are collecting tax now because the particular areas have become unavoidable spots for the public now.

All vehicles should be parked as per the provision provided by the Dimapur Traffic in the road side. Most of the vehicles are being parked without complying with the provision. Those who collect tax should properly monitor.
For now we will comply but one fine day when mood is off fists will fly and during that time volunteers don't mind, cos it's not like our hard earned money grows on trees or we have excess to black money.
