Dude my resume is pretty clear, honest and amazingly simple to understand, actually I domain English and Spanish and all is ok, the trouble begins when Canadians read the words "LMIA, Sponsorship, relocation and foreigner", they scares as death, but well I have an ace up the sleeve, let's see if bait bites... Thanks for this video and see you in the next brotha!

Thank you so much for this video..i hope this is an eye opener for the Philippine government to be like canada when it comes to people looking for a job. Base on my experience and most of the Filipinos it is really frustrating to look for a job here in when you are not a bachelor's degree graduate. I have an extensive work experience in housekeeping both local and abroad and my previous work was as a housekeeping manager and a trainer in a foreign country..i was hired base on the interview and my knowledge for the role..from a supervisory experience then as a manager and a trainer..but here in my country it doesnt work..it always required bachelors degree even just as housekeeping attendant position. No wonder a lot of Filipinos dreamed for Canada including my self..the rights and welfare of the jobseekers are always important..Hoping one day an opportunity comes.

Thanks for sharing your ideas for writing a resume from a Canadian perspective! :)
If I may share though, coming from 5+ years of experience in recruitment in multinational companies, either Word or PDF would be okay. (Just not the scan PDF version.) It pretty much works like the Crlt + F function. ;)

I loved the video, however I disagree that PDF is a wrong format, its a most professional format, you avoid inadvertent errors while scrolling the pdf, when the recruiter is scanning across the document. Its really unfair if their tool does not pick up this format, in that case the employer must specific the required format
