The only limit should be actual physical haki attacks and of course his stamina to keep the scroll open. Also could be the bigger the scroll the less time he can keep it open it, is a powerful fruit in the right hands that is. This also takes us back to the barrier barrier fruit it is OP but has limits for stamina like the rest
If he is capable of sealing living things, I would imagine it being similar to Sai's sealing jutsu with the tiger. But I feel like Raizo's ability is one of those that isn't capable of storing/affecting living things other than himself.

Since Earth Jutsu can basically rearrange matter on a subatomic level, I just assumed Madara took the dust that is ever present in the atmosphere, high and probably low, and just fused it together into solid rock. Heck, depending on his range he might be able to pull it from space itself.

Considering Raizo didn't have an arsenal of attack scrolls prepared for use against Kaido, I'm going to assume there's either a hard limit on his scrolls. For example maybe he has a limit on his scrolls (10 for the sake of this post) and that's his hard limit. So if he had 10 scrolls with stores attacks, he couldn't summon a scroll to absorb new attacks, because they're all in use. Perhaps that large boro breath scroll cost 10/10 scroll points due to it's size, so he couldn't afford to prepare before the fight? There could also possibly be a time limit on how long an attack can be stored inside a scroll to explain why he didn't have more attacks ready. I'm also assuming the scrolls can only block things that fully enter the scrolls. Like if enma slashed a scroll, I'd assume it'd cut through the scroll rather than half the blade being absorbed into the scroll or something.
i think Raizo can store whatever he wants no matter how big or powerful, instead the bigger or stronger/more powerful the thing he stores is the less time he can actually keep it in the scroll. something like it takes stamina to keep it there and can cost more or less stamina depending on what it is. That's why Raizo immediately used Kaido's attack on him, cause it was too big and powerful to keep stored for more than a few seconds.

Wanna hear a crackhead poneglyph theory that makes too much sense? Conquerors coating is needed to carve poneglyphs. Theyre said to be indestructible but they have to be carved somehow right? We also thought of Kaido as nigh invincible until advanced conquerors was unlocked by Zoro and Luffy. We know Oden had advanced conquerors haki, and there's a chance conquerors is hereditary, hence why the Kozuki line would pass down the knowledge. Not a huge theory but certainly food for thought. Dunno if its video worthy or not but a new poneglyph theory video would be cool. Also, if my theory is right, does that mean a poneglyph could be destroyed?
Considering how kaido is inadvertently teaching Luffy how to combine conqueror's haki with his advanced armament technique from the prison training, I'd say it's possible. I just don't think anyone other than the true joy boy can have the fully realized version of the technique.
I would like to think that just as ordinary paramicas and logias can't deal with Haki, maybe he can only absorb attacks that has no Haki attached. Like borobreath but not the Haki infused attacks.
Maybe like with Laws “shambles” it’s not just if there is Haki present but rather if there is enough Haki. Cause I’m pretty sure rocks and such have Haki since zoro could hear them.

The scroll can only be made with the devil fruit, so that scroll is apart of the scroll fruit. Putting another devil fruit inside it wouldn't work. But big mom giving it life could be possible, but it's still only going to have the 1 blast
Raizo vs Mont'dor, scroll vs book. Oda already drew the line when JINBE said Mont'dor's powers were limited only by his imagination. Mont'dor could have just sealed the big mom pirates in a book then flew that book to Wano and its proven he can do those 2 things at least. Also he has book world tsukuyomi.

image what Raizo could have done at Marineford during that barrage of giant manga fist and cannon balls. Like he seals them all in a scroll and once he gets to the plaza unleashes there's own cannon balls and akakinu's lava fist against them.

Raizo's ability is a slightly more complicated and nuanced version of Kuma's ability. While is does not allow Raizo to "teleport" himself and others it has the up-side of being able to store attacks for later, but as far as battle abilities go, both of these abilities are pretty darn good.
I have a feeling that for Raizo's Scroll-Scroll Fruit and the Capsules of Dragonball work like a Bag of Holding in DnD when it comes to storing people.
You talk about sealing jutsus in scroll and a big focus of the Boruto movie is basically centered out the tech that allows one to store their jutsu in these mini scrolls and shoot them out whenever they want to without wasting any chakra or even needing to learn the technique.

They're made from sea prism stone right? That means they would be destroyable right? Cuz they can make sea prism stone handcuffs and arrows and stuff

Raizo's ability is a slightly more complicated and nuanced version of Kuma's ability. While is does not allow Raizo to "teleport" himself and others it has the up-side of being able to store attacks for later, but as far as battle abilities go, both of these abilities are pretty darn good.
I have a feeling that for Raizo's Scroll-Scroll Fruit and the Capsules of Dragonball work like a Bag of Holding in DnD when it comes to storing people.
