Great driving skills and great prep on the machines........heck of a work out for men and Jeeps (and Land Rovers!) We miss Stan Fuller.......thanks for all you and Stan have done for this sport!!
when was this trip? I see that it was posted on 9-1-24. I was there 8-31-24 and the trail didn't look like that at all. No rocks filling in the holes, paving the way up the trail. It's awesome that you made it through, I'm just wondering when you did it. had to have been right before or at the beginning of Sierra Trek.
I've done this trail multiple times, both in my big truck and my little Rover (the grey one in this video). Winch hill 3 has been dumbed down ( step jackhammered off at the bottom) but other than that, the majority wasn't "paved" like you say..... These little rigs are far more capable than the guys on 40+ tires think, and that makes a lot of them uncomfortable and they love to down play things.....
Thanks for another great ride along, I love the no frills, big thrills all skill 4wheeling. Old school cool gets my vote every time!!!
Wow ! That's jeepin' ... Flat Fender Style .... Gearing and Guts !

Awesome! These videos are so inspiring. Do you know what size BFGs 'Lucky' is running? 7.50R16 km3?
Yes, that’s what they are.

We did it 8-16 and 8-17. Any rock filling/stacking was not done by us.
