Speaking about the Allman Brothers at the Fillmore East... I was at that show.
Greg is so damn full of life. I love his enthusiasm. His playing is so fun! Thank you Wildwood for having him do this! Can’t wait to visit y’all’s shop one day! Having guests artists on the show with Greg is so refreshing with all the other “noise” out there on TH-cam.
Less than 3 minutes in and already feeling like these two really need to make a baby. Some say it's iMpOsSiBle but I think it's worth a shot or two.

Andy's POV is very insightful for a geezer like me.........No internet meant using your imagination.....not just clicking on something on demand. The "live" experience, the fresh moments. Andy is a true historian and has a fine taste in pickers

I saw Del McCoury years ago live in Glasgow with Steve Earl. I didn't know who he was at the time, but damn, he and his band blew me away. I couldn't get over the fact that they had one mic on the stage and that the whole band was able to mix their sound by just stepping towards and away the mic when they needed to. Coincidently my friend called me the other day to say he has a spare ticket to see a blue grass band live next week. I haven't heard of the band before and can't remember their name right now, but I am looking forward to. Live music is just so special.

Like my grandma would say, that was a cool ass jam! That was an interesting conversation and I can say that I’m 66 and have many of the same influences. I was in my teens when Led Zep and Cream were happening. I also got to see Little Feat and Johnny Winter and Albert Collins and John Lee Hooker and Ten Years After and Savoy Brown and SRV and Junior Brown and Vasser Clements and Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa and Yes and Miles Davis. All of them are still influences. But now I’ve added Eric Johnson and Derek Trucks and Jimmy Herring, Warren Haynes, Joe Bonamassa, etc. but I’m BIG TIME into Greg Koch and Andy Wood and Corey Congilio and Ariel Posen and Robert Baker and Rick Beato and David Walliman and Brett Papa and Tim Pierce and RJ Ronquillo and Rhett Schull and Ross Campbell, Marty Schwartz, Michael Palmisano, Martin Hury, Justin Johnson, Stitch, and Tomo Fujita. And those are just the ones I take lessons and steal licks from! I’m sure there are tons more. I can spend all day, every day, learning guitar. I love it and if there was something like this when I was a kid, I never would have come out of my room! However this video was different because it was just conversation and it was fun.
And thanks for the heads up on Allen Stone, the guy can sing!

i totally do the shuffle thing on my itunes. I have all 3000 CDs I own burnt into itunes. its like over a years worth of continuous music and you just put it on songs and then hit shuffle and you rediscover things you hadn't listen to in a very long time or things that you "love" that you just pass past.

And probably, pretty soon, every 2 years. And probably pretty soon after that, every 8 months. And so on.
Who is editing this thing? Suggestion: mix it to the camera that shows the guy doing the lead not the guy doing the simple rhythm. We missed some tasty playing by Greg simply because the camera stayed on Andy
