- Ticks are very annoying and can sometimes also cause a lot of damage to not only us humans but also animals.😲 Lions🦁 in the wild usually just live with them but in some cases, it can happen that ticks cause big wounds which then get infected and eventually lead to the death of the animal.😓🥵 So if I as a part of the Pride have the ability to remove them for their well-being I feel responsible to do so, cause I strongly believe they would do the same for me too!

I am I'm a hospital bed right now and without going in to my illness I am just going to say that I am in a hospital bed more than I am at home. These videos are so uplifting and he is such an amazing man. The relationship he has between the animals is so rewarding and I thank you so much for that. Watching these videos are much more helpful than the medicine I'm given.

Dean, your relationships with this pride of lions is amazing. I've been watching short snippets of you interacting with them for ages now, and i'm always in awe. The mutual respect is palpable : you're their human friend that knows their habits and quirks and they are your pack of lion friends who you understand. You always look so happy to intereact with them and to share the love you have for them and the knowledge about them. Thank you for sharing the love, the happiness and the cuddles :)

It's just incredible how Dean is able to do this. Legends like Steve Irwin and you really are amazing, you're just a simple human literally bite sized for most of the lions yet they consider you to be literally apart of them like family. You're an amazing person dean and the animals you care for definitely show it
To me Lions seem no more domesticated than a house cat in terms of bonding with humans, they are also social felines that live in packs. Obviously, it's just the size difference that makes them dangerous, my cat challenges me on a daily basis and will bite me and I think it's funny. Definitely I would not try to challenge a Lion, even if brought up in captivity!

Dean is the true life Doctor Dolittle of the animal kingdom and is joy to his compassion and love pulsing out of his very pores. You can just witness the pure love he has to all his nature buddies and the purest joy shown on his face when talking about all these majestic animals. I am so envious of his great life and passion but in a very noble way. Cheers Dean for bringing awareness to our screens.

Was curious if you have vids of the lions from when they were younger and if so will you ever post them here? Also is there somewhere else where you have more vids on the timeline for getting into contact with the lions, how you came to be with all these particular individuals, and what it was like being with them and watching them grow? I would love to meet this guy- he is always so positive & upbeat but he also seems down to earth, like "Hey it is what it is" he's also super intelligent about ALL of his animals. Not to mention- dedicated, loyal & caring. He totally seems like an all around great human being! I wonder if he has anything set up to where us common folk can donate money towards buying all the essentials for his tribe? Im sure caring for all of the animals can be quite expensive & who wouldn't want to donate to something like this?
