I know exactly what you're talking about Mary. I did a solo trip to Portugal last year and I split my time between Porto and Lisbon. Catching the train back and forth and exploring the country on my time was amazing !!! This is a great conversation, because I know first hand that many find solo travel to be too much for them. LETS GO EXPLORE LADIES
Thanks for this sis🙏🏽❣️ Given what you've said here I feel like you're my older sister from a different mister lol. I feel and think the same way🤭. Only difference is I allowed my adventurous, traveling spirit to be stifled for about 15 years putting others before me but Im reclaiming that spirit! Ive been in Panama for nearly 3 weeks now and will be here until mid June. I havent done much up to this point because I honestly hadn't had consistent good night's sleep since Oct '23, needed to catch up on that and been dealing with a back issue, but Im determined to start enjoying my time here beginning today. Thank you for your candor, insight and wisdom. Also, it's funny I have the same earrings on today in black 🤷🏾♀️☺️.
hey Sis, thanks so much for watching, I am glad that you are reclaiming your adventurous spirit, good for you, please take all the time you need to rest, our bodies often tell us when we need to do so. You don't need to be doing anything to be enjoying your time, getting proper rest is all the self care you need. Take your time and give yourself the rest you deserve! :)
Thank you, Mary. I will be downloading the Trip It app. I tend to make lists and screenshot places of interest, then have to hunt through all my research.
@Marysseasonedexpatlife Hi Mary. First off, thank you for responding. The attorney I will probably be working with for the Pensionado visa suggested a couple of areas based on my needs...safe, walkable, reasonable (objective, I know), not in the tourist areas necessarily. I plan to rent an Airbnb for a few weeks. What are your thoughts about these neighborhoods? Marbella, El Cangrejo, Amador, Playa Bonita or the Howard area? Also, what's the best way to get a tour of the city? I won't have a car. I appreciate any info you can share.
@ are you on Facebook, I suggest you join my community and link up with someone or talk to others that have lived in the neighborhoods you are mentioning. facebook.com/share/g/15wLMGUAZ2/
This sounds like a dream life ❤
Great video. Thanks for sharing.

Perfection is a killer of creativity.
I couldn't agree more, I learned to just let it go and go with the flow.

Ola, I'm solo scouting Panama City in March. This is my first solo trip. Help! I'm looking for any info you can offer.
I have an entire playlist on relocation, how can I help you?
