Definitely underrated.
This anime was so unbelievably cool. Action, character depth and a lot of aspects that dove between unpredictable, and just predictable enough to stay consistent... this is definitely in my all time top 3 anime. I'm genuinely shocked that this isn't more popular.

Como me gusta el opening ^^ Y me gustó mucho el anime, sin saberlo estaba viendo un anime yuri con buena trama y con tan bonita pareja que hacen Nadi y Eris, las amé, casi lloro con la escena donde le Nadi le dispara a Eris. Y fue un buen detalle eso de la gasolinera de pemex, y la moneda de 1 centavo de principios de siglo XX que Eris le da a Nadi para que hiciera su trabajo me sorprendió por lo bien detallada que estaba. El mejor anime que he visto en estos ultimos seis meses

Lo que me enoja es que en el anime (ni en el manga) se habla acerca de su pasado o su historia, a lo mucho te cuentan de su vida amorosa fallida.
Curiosamente la página oficial del anime y la Wiki te dan un poco más de información de ella.
Ojalá hubieran hecho lo mismo en el anime, desechando capítulos innecesarios como el del Sicario y Margarita, o en donde se quedan varadas y van a un restaurante y ayudan a la dueña de este.
La verdad es que jamás nos entregaron respuestas claras de preguntas concisas tales como:
- La relación de Lirio y Ricardo
- La historia de Nadie
- La organización que en principio contrata a Nadie para ayudar a Ellis (sobretodo porque al final parece que ya les vale lo que pase con Ellis)

Was looking for more anime to watch, specifically anime that has girls with guns and this opening is GODLIKE. And what the AMV has, this show’s action looks pretty great. I’ll probably try to get my BFF to watch this with me since she and I loved Black Lagoon.

I don't get it why people buy an anime that has girls with guns. Just because one of the protagonists is a female gunslinger shouldn't matter. I just watch it because it's an amazing anime.

@erick117O Porque la mayoria de los buenos animes siguen una historia congruente y no les importan seguir haciendo capitulos de relleno, por lo que la historia se hace corta, ademas de que si hicieran eso ya no seria tan bueno. De hecho este anime por ejemplo, es mas corto que su manga y en esta es muy diferente a la otra T.T

lol yeah, but really I think they kind of left it up to the viewers to decide. If I really wanted to I could make a huge list arguing both sides. There's sooo much evidence that they're not gay and that they're just close, but at the same time you could easily argue that they are. Still at one point Ricardo talks to Nadie about how children see the world in black and white, or in other words as "love or hate." This is how Ellis sees the world, and it's quite clear throughout the series.

Btw *spoilers* Ellis does in fact say "I love you" to Nadie, but that really doesn't mean anything. That's something you say to family, or even close friends.
.... What is the irony in Spanish subs for an anime that takes place in Mexico that I find so amusing? It's only normal!
But, for all you actual Mexicans who love this anime, my Mexican friend says it's pretty accurate on culture and stuff. (He even says the gay guys in the first couple of episodes are almost dead-on, and he IS gay, so you'd think he'd take offense to that.) What is YOUR input?
Yeah it's never really stated that they're gay. At one part they point out that artificial life forms will become attached to people and look up to them (like a parent/brother/sister) which has happened to Ellis twice now, and both characters are showed to be interested in men (Ellis even states she'd marry a guy in the final episode). Also although the ending is left open, most of the series (as well as the final episode) hint that Nadie, Ellis, Ricardo, and Liro belong together. So yeah.
Este anime mas apegado a la situacion actual de Mexico, ya ven tanta violencia y guerra de carteles, pues este anime si que esta atinado a la tematica de Mexico en parte.

@truearea53 yes, you did describe the cover of Rin, and it also contains a healthy bit of nudity, and some sexual torture scenes, but has a really great story line. its just a shame lots of people couldnt get past the torture scene in the first episode. it really is a great anime
My sis said the most lesbian anime was Strawberry Panic man i never watched it but i heard it has lots of spoilers.
I would have enjoyed this more if I didn't stick with the English dub. It ruined some of the show for me.

Why can't they just be good friends? Do they ever kiss or say say "I love you"? Not as far as I've watched. Come on, I don't wanna watch an anime about 2 lesbian girls, (not that there is anything wrong with lesbians, don't flame me), so I'd rather think they're just friends. Besides, they really don't do anything that is really that suggestive.
